In order to fulfil this wish, humans have made a lot of efforts which ranges from making kites, hydrogen balloons, many designs that were in the shape of birds and finally to aircraft. That evolution has taken the life of a thousand humans i.e. some people fell from kites from a tower and many other died in other tries. In the year 1903, the Wright brothers succeeded in making an aircraft that can properly fly. After this invention, the U.S. army find it a very useful tools specially in wars and in the year 1908, the U.S. army ordered wright brothers to make a two seater aircraft. When the aircraft was made then wright brothers made flight trials on the aircraft with army. When the first try was made, aircraft crashes and result in death of army officer. This research work conducted to study the impact of a flight simulator on student’s performance towards knowledge. The purpose was to evaluate whether the applied knowledge is helpful to understand the theory better or not and also classify the degree of effect on students’ performance in acquiring knowledge. This study focusses on the subject “Aircraft Performance and Flight Simulator” which was studied by Institute of Aviation studies who are doing their BS Aviation Management degree program. Mostly this subject was studied by the students at 3rd semester. The method used for this research was the quantitative approach. The sample population was a total of 83 students of BS Aviation Management degree program. The targeted population were those students who were done with the theory and practical work of the subject (Aircraft performance and flight simulator). So, after conducting the survey the overall result shows the positive impact on student’s performance and there is the relationship between flight simulator and student’s performance in getting knowledge because this machine helps to improve student’s capability of learning through training. A lot of research is been done to making passenger satisfaction on cabin crew at PIA and Emirates, however PIA lag behind exceptional passenger services and required new user-friendly technique. Due to this a comparative framework is constructed between PIA and Emirates to find out which Airline services is working well. To know passenger satisfaction from passenger services provided at Airline, a questionnaire is conducted at Lahore Airport. The sample taken for this research is from Lahore airport active flights of both airlines passenger and took 30 passengers from each airline for the questionnaire. Therefore study was conducted on the Comparative study of Direct and Indirect cargo carriers and its impact on Local Airlines. The survey was conducted in the vicinity of Allama Iqbal International Airport .Questionnaires was filled by the cargo agents and PIA airline and interview was conducted from different indirect cargo carriers. It was found that local airlines have incapable market share because of their weak market strategies and lack of fleet size. Another reason found for their decline was that they do not have right person on right job and they do not conduct trainings of their employee’s .On the other hand indirect carriers have strong strategies and significant market share. They exceed to the satisfaction of their customers..Item Miscommunication Leading to Accidents of Vehicles on Ground(UMT, Lahore, 2019) Hammad Zahid , Zohaib ZulfiqaMiscommunication plays an important role in occurrence of incidents not only in air but on ground as well. According to the research not in aviation industry almost in all sectors most of the time carelessness factor involves due to which incident or accidents occurs and consequences are worse. Miscommunication in aviation remains a serious threat to safety. Factors such as pilot’s workload, quality of audio signal, accent of pilot or controller, English language proficiency of operator, and failure to use standard terminology are all thought to contribute to communication errors. Miscommunication is defined as a lack of understanding (or misunderstanding), non-understanding or misinterpretation of messages in communication. The purpose of this study is to analyze the factor which are becoming hurdles in safe operation on ground. Sometime ground staff is busy in different activities due to which the incident on ground may occur. The other factor which is also plays an important role in incident is the improper training of the ground staff, Like the staff member have very little knowledge regarding the usage of Tug-master and Ambo-lifter. The terminologies and phrases which are necessary on ground are also plays a vital role in minimization of accidents. These terminologies and phrases are based on international standards which should be followed by all ground handling operators. So, that there is a minimum chance of occurrence of incidents on apron or on taxiway. The findings in the indicators of PIA and Qatar airways are analyzed and the reason for the stability of Qatar Airways are determined. The factors that are causing a good stability in Qatar Airways are enlightened. The research is based on empirical study of the two airlines which includes financial and operational aspects of both airline Qatar and PIA. The data of the research is gathered through interviews of top and middle management of both Qatar Airways and Pakistan International Airline and a hypothesis is developed for each. The Data is analyzed through pie charts and performance indicators applied to both the airlines. Financial and economic factors are taken into account for determining and comparing the performances of both airlines. Some of the leading airports around the world focus on customer satisfaction in every possible way to attract the passengers. Congestion is the most thought-provoking drawback faced by the passengers around the world at different airports. This research study focuses on customer satisfaction about terminal congestion at ALLAMA IQBAL INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Lahore. Passengers were asked about the congestion they face at the terminal points of the airport. A total of hundred (100) passengers at departure and arrival of AIIAP were a fundamental part of this valuable assessment, inclusive of ONLY the international passengers. The problems which were figured out leads us to the serious factor which include current and past financial condition of PIA, mismanagement of PIA, fear of monopoly by PIA at the airport and losses to other service providers at the airport. Pakistani Airlines have to learn from these airlines in the marketing aspect and need to do better in this area to make their mark across the globe. Currently, Pakistani airlines and all the stakeholders involved in it are not emphasizing much on marketing sector because there are only three Pakistani airlines exist in the country and a very nominal competition among them. These facilities and features are for every person at airport for example, person who is travelling or just a visitor at airport, person who is from different religion and a person who is disable or belonging to the special category. If airport have such facilities for all the above mention people then the airport is consider as passenger friendly. The research was conducted for 3 consecutive days, and gathering information fulfilling the objectives. The factors which were surveyed and interviewed, from research were that average of people were at neutral saying that the sitting is not up to the mark but there is space and benches to rest. The wheelchair facilities is 24/7 available over there for people with physical disability. Moreover, the signboards are clearly visible at different areas of airport, the blind people are assisted through two ways; announcement and guides. The interview conducted from official employees told that almost 2-3% of PSN travel through their airlines including, expected mothers, unaccompanied children, senior citizen, people with physical and mental disability, deported people accused of crime, and people who are unable to understand ones language. This research is about the features for special need Passengers at Allama Iqbal international Airport. The research comprises of the comparison between AIIAP and other two airports (Dubai international airport and Shannon international airport Ireland) to find out that what other airports are offering for special need passengers and what kind of facilities AIIAP have for PSN. For relevant information investigator visited the airport and from interviews and personal observation the data was gathered. However, the research creates the awareness among people regarding PSN, their types, and their needs for travelling.
