    The prevalence of Childhood obesity is increasing day by day. This research conducted to explore the association between power nap and risk of obesity using anthropometric measurements, waist circumference percentile, BMI percentile and usual dietary intake for evaluating the risk of obesity related metabolic conditions. Factors that lead to childhood obesity are poor dietary habits, low physical activity, more screen time and lack of nutritional knowledge in parents. There was no prior research done on power nap and its association with obesity. The main purpose of this research is to give awareness among people about the exact meaning of power nap and its impact on their daily dietary routine. The result of this study shows there is significant impact of fiber, vitamin A and calcium on power nappers and non-nappers. The intervention for pediatric obesity is limited. We should acknowledge all factors contributing the risk of obesity i.e. circadian cycle. Researches also support biphasic sleeping patterns. However, there are certain limitations regarding to the concerned topic, which shows that more research needed.

    Cardiovascular disease (CVD) is a major cause of mortality and morbidity worldwide, and its prevention and management depend largely on public awareness. Medical students are expected to have a better understanding of CVD than non-medical students, little is known about the comparative level of awareness between these two groups.     DIETARY PATTERNS AND EATING BEHAVIOR OF CHILDREN WITH AUTISM SPECTRUM DISORDER

    The aim of this study to find out the dietary patterns and to evaluate the eating behaviors of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Lahore, Pakistan. The study participant was ASD children aged 5-10years. For data collection, the sample was drawn from four autism center through the convenience sampling technique. Data regarding the participant personal history, eating patterns and eating behavior was collected through their caregivers using a Food Frequency Questionnaire and Bambi. The data revealed that from the total participant selected 61% was boys and 31% girls. The BMI for age percentile of the children was obtained according to their height and weight. Among children with autism, 22% were underweight, 13% overweight and 35% obese. The eating behavior of participant revealed that children with ASD exhibit resistive behavior at almost every meal which accounts for 22.4% of total responses. Significant proportion of children with ASD (24.08%) have preference for the same food and are not willing to try new food. FFQ show. FFQ data shows that the most calories consumed comes from egg, meat and beverage with 2.5 and 2.7 servings per week respectively. The children diet is lacking in vegetables and dairy foods. The chi square P value shows that there is no association between children BMI and Food intake.

    Picky eating is a frequent behavior among young children, encompassing various issues such as feeding difficulties at an early age, delayed introduction of solid foods during weaning, eating under pressure, and being fussy. Eating habits have a direct or indirect impact on all systems of the human body since appropriate nutrition is vital for optimal development and bodily functions. As a result, it is crucial to establish programs that encourage healthy eating habits in children for their overall well-being. The study aimed to assess picky eating behaviors in children aged 8-13 years living in rural areas and to develop educational materials aimed at improving their eating habits.

    University employee especially academic professionals are facing the issues of being over loaded with their routine and office work. They have major responsibilities to complete at the given deadlines that make them feel burdened. Work overload has negative effects on physical and mental health of employees. This study aimed to analyze the impact of work overload on the dietary habits, sleep quality and psychophysical well-being of the employees. A cross sectional survey has been conducted in which 121 university professionals participated. Work overload, sleep quality, dietary habits and psychophysical well-being has been examined via a structured questionnaire. Study findings concluded that there was a significant (p<0.05) strong negative association of work overload with dietary habits, sleep quality and psychophysical well-being of employees. Hence, increase in work overload has decreased the (healthy) dietary habits, sleep quality and psychophysical well-being of academic professional at universities.
