ASSESSMENT AND DEVELOPMENT OF NUTRITION EDUCATION MATERIAL OF PICKY EATERS (08-13 YEARS) IN RURAL AREAS

Abstract
Picky eating is a frequent behavior among young children, encompassing various issues such as feeding difficulties at an early age, delayed introduction of solid foods during weaning, eating under pressure, and being fussy. Eating habits have a direct or indirect impact on all systems of the human body since appropriate nutrition is vital for optimal development and bodily functions. As a result, it is crucial to establish programs that encourage healthy eating habits in children for their overall well-being. The study aimed to assess picky eating behaviors in children aged 8-13 years living in rural areas and to develop educational materials aimed at improving their eating habits.
