Industry in Pakistan is on the maturity stage where all the major competitors have dominated the industry. Most of the competitors are using Red Ocean strategy which is ICI, Brighto & Berger and only one competitor is using Blue Ocean strategy which is Master paints. Among all the competitors, ICI is dominating the whole industry because he is covering all the 6 CSFs of the industry. Brighto was far behind every company but since 2006, he has made its mark in the industry. Berger is one of the multinationals in the organized sector & also one of the largest paint manufacturers in the world but from the several years, Berger has declined instead of boosting up on the top because he is not focusing on the CSF’s which are to be followed crucially. There are 2 major factors which are ignored by Berger, Branding & Paint Availability. The company is well aware of the fact that they are lagging behind in the 2 factors but still, they are ignoring the situation which is seriously damaging their repute in the market. They are not giving enough markup to its retailers as compare to the ICI & Brighto which is responsible for the drag. They should also become serious about the Availability issue because it cost the retailers repute. We have analyzed all aspects which are affecting the company with the help of many analytical tools i.e GE Matrix, SPACE Matrix, SWOT analysis etc.

Status of Prevalence of Communicable Disease by Screening of Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and TB among Internally Displaced Population in Khan Colony Lahore
(University of Management and Technology, 2017) Haider Jaferi, Murtaza
The migration crisis has emerged as a new agenda to table the international dialogues after Syria and Myanmar war and violence in recent decade. In 2015 the global migration crisis hit the toll of over 40 million people displaced as a result of wars and violence. The recent development of global interest in migration phenomena is influenced by main push factors of economic or social stability for population movement across the international border or within the international boundary. There are estimated 28 million people globally that are called internally displaced Persons (IDPs) and they moved within the country of origin. The burden of disease due to population movement may exert pressure on available resources of the host community that in turn can pose significant threat to the scarcity of healthcare services. In Pakistan the IDPs crisis originated at a larger scale after military operation against terrorist groups in 2009. A large number of IDPs moved from conflict affected zone of Khyber Pakhtoon Khwa to settled urban areas of Pakistan including Lahore. This study has assessed the proportion of burden of communicable disease caused by influx of migratory population within the urban area in Lahore. The study to assess the burden of communicable diseases is conducted in Khan Colony, Lahore where IDP community is residing. The study is cross sectional prospective survey conducted by collection of data through semi structured questionnaire and taking blood samples for detection of sero-positivity of anti bodies for detection of Hepatitis B virus (HBV), Hepatitis C virus (HCV) and sputum samples for detection of tuberculosis (TB). The sampling technique used for this study is non random convenient sampling with sample size of 53 participants. The author finds that (22.6%) of the IDP population out of total sample of 53 participants is infected with anti HCV virus. The large majority of the studied population comprised of female (73.6%) participants. There is another coincidence observed in the prevalence rate of HCV that out of iv total infected population about (75%) population consisted of female. The IDP population residing in Khan Colony, Lahore is mainly originated from Peshawar (42%) and Mardan (34%) divisions of Khyber Pakhtun Khwa Province. The author found that the studied population is deprived of standardized healthcare facilities within their community and the community is prone to bear the burden of epidemic of communicable disease due to poverty with unemployment (79%) and over crowdedness (83%) sharing of room with more than three persons. The studied population is observed to be living in low socio-economic conditions as evidenced from population living in mud houses (15%), unemployment (89.4%) and high illiteracy (68%) rate. The most important recommendation from this study is to initiate the aggressive measures to interrupt HCV infection by implementation of social mobilization methods for better awareness of the community.

(University of Management and Technology, 2017) Raheel Safdar; Kashaf Saleem; Rabbia Khalid
This study has been initiated to evaluate the fundamental controversies and threats confront by Industrialist while setting up their factories in PIEDMC.(Punjab Industrial Estate Management And Development Company). Public-Private partnership is the utmost essential shaft and a leading driver of the expansion of national economy. In contempt of symbolic input to the economy, this sector continues to face assertive hurdles. This study is anticipated at expanding the competency of the Documentation process in PIEDMC. Industrialization is a key driver for any country to boost the economic condition, social uplift, employment generation and poverty alleviation. Keeping in view this vision, the Punjab Government has set up Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC). PIEDMC develops industrial estates and provide state of the art infrastructure including roads, drainage, water supply, sewerage system, electrification network, security system, rescue 1122, grid station and amenity areas. PIEDMC provides facilities to the industrialists including sale of developed industrial plots, building plan approval, transfer, electricity connection, water connection and complaint registration of the industrialists. This research intends to find out the issues industrialists face when the setup the industry in the industrial estates of PIEDMC. The individual industrialists who are currently operating in the industrial estates and the other industrialist who are the prospect clients were interviewed once with non-contrived study settings and minimal researcher involvement. Focus group discussions were carried out with the management to get the point of view and for validation of the findings. Since the research was qualitative, Nvivo software was used. After thematic analysis through Nvivo different queries and analysis were performed. Based on the Nvivo finding it was observed that the issues industrialists were facing were of two categories. There are issues which are directly related to PIEDMC called “internal issues” and the issues where PIEDMC is not involved are called “external issues” these issues were mapped, nodes were created and the number of coded reference were recorded. Mostly they were satisfied with the services being rendered by PIEDMC but they reported issues of high plot prices, labour transportation, drainage system failure in rainy season, fiscal incentive, missing amenity areas. Largely they were not satisfied with the services provided by other government departments they need even if they set up the industrial unit in the industrial estates of PIEDMC. These departments are Environment Protection Department (EPD), Punjab Employees Social Security Institutions (PESSI), Employees Old Age Benefit Institution (EOBI), Revenue Department, Industries Department etc. PIEDMC does not provide services to deal with these departments and has no authority to regulate them. The industrialists have to deal with these government departments to get approvals or register the industrial units which cause the waste of time and even then they are not facilitated accordingly. It is recommended that there should be a policy framework to regulate all the other government departments involved. PIEDMC should be given authority and a One Window Center should be housed in the PIEDMC. PIEDMC representatives should be the interface between the industrialists and other government departments. All services (approvals or registrations) provided by other government departments should be offered under one roof. Through automation of the system, applicant should be able to check the current status any time. All services should be provided with defined timelines and process flow. This will increase the transparency and accountability, minimize the costs to applicant, effective, efficient and corruption free service delivery.

(University of Management and Technology, 2018) Rashid, Hira; Um-e-Aimen; Naureen, Maham; Shahid, Rida; Rana, Moazam
The reason for this examination is to encourage old beneficiaries with the goal that they could get their pension easily. The proposed design is to present Direct Credit System of Pension into their Accounts as opposed to pension books. For this reason, we went by different branches of National Bank of Pakistan and led interviews with bank staff and retired people also to better comprehend the association's necessities and worries so as to think of best arrangements. For directing the underlying exploration, we have embraced quantitative research. Essential information is gathered through polls from beneficiaries and workers of bank staff occupied with benefits process. Optional information is gathered from web sources and financial review of Pakistan. Moreover, the examination talks about the circumstance of Pensioners and features the workload on bank counters also. In light of that, the examination looks at which will be the most achievable and temperate approach to defeat this issue. By keeping in see the age factor, medical problems and practicality to visit bank as often as possible, we proposed a smooth and bother free annuity process which won't just facilitate the retired people yet in addition the banks too. The fundamental point of a bank is to win benefit. By presenting such framework, banks will have the capacity to tap a potential un-tapped market. Banks won't simply gain benefits yet will likewise have the capacity to build client mind which will at last diminishing client grumblings and increment consumer loyalty.

(University of Management and Technolog, 2017) Mudassir Naeem; Tallal Ashraf
Why games? What can you learn from playing games? How can games change the world? Jane McGonigal addresses the idea of using games in education at the 2011 Microsoft Innovative Education Forum. Many worry that the gamification of education movement can't and won't teach anything, but instead will just test prior knowledge. This narrow view is one possible outcome, but certainly not what Jane McGonigal seems to have in mind when speaking of the potential of games. John Hunter's World Peace Game is the pinnacle of gamification in education and it doesn't even include technology (yet). Our final year project is based on gamification. It will be a gamified student course for data structures, a desktop application of Data Structures. Gamification is the application of game-design elements and principles in non-game context. In recent years gamification has proved to be very successful. Organizations are concentrating more in business objectives which have increased the need of gamification as it helpstomake workplace more engaging and productive to increase engagement in a non-gaming activity so our project is GAMIFICATION IN EDUCATION its all about to make ease and interesting study concepts for students . In our project weare trying to gamfiying the concepts of Data Structure in which included Array, Stack, Link list and Avl balancing
