They ranged in ages from 18 40 years (M= 22.7, SD= 2.9). Factor structure emerged after CFA of MCQ-30 Urdu version was comparable with that of English version of MCQ-30 and the scale showed good internal consistency (ranging from .68 -.75). Convergent and Divergent validity as also examined using Pearson Correlation analysis. The results suggest that MCQ-30 Urdu version is a reliable and valid measure for use with the Pakistani population. Results also revealed metacognition a significant predictor of worry related thoughts.Item Bodyimage, interpersonal relationship and stages of change in overweight adults(UMT Lahore, 2020) Kinza Noor; Anum ShahzadThe current study investigated the relationship between body image, interpersonal relationship and stage of change in overweight adults. Further, to explore and measure the significance and the statistical power of the model. A sample of 541 adult participants (Men= 309, Women= 240) from 20-50 years of age (M=28.63, SD=6.48) was recruited through convenient sampling. Correlation, regression, and advanced SEM analyses through Smart-PLS were carried out. The result of the analysis showed that immune functioning predicts both health anxiety-related symptoms as well as several mental health problems, furthermore, the analysis showed that health anxiety in terms of different health-related anxiety factors was found to be a significant mediator between immune functioning and mental health problems.
