Item Impact of leadership competencies on the police project performance, mediating role of job satisfaction(UMT Lahore, 2021) Bushra SaeedThe study aims to discover the relationship between Leadership Competencies on Project performance with the mediating role of job satisfaction. The study was conducted through quantitative method relating by Path Goal Leadership Theory & Herzberg’s Motivation-Hygiene Theory. The data was collected through survey method from 305 workforces working in Punjab Police Safe City Project, Lahore. The data was analyzed by SPSS with causal Molding Software. Outcomes of the study showed the positive impact of Leadership Competencies on the project performance. A very strong relationship was observed with the mediator job satisfaction on project performance and Leadership Competency in Punjab police department. Job satisfaction as a mediator has a significant influence between the relationship of Emotional Leadership Competency, Managerial Leadership Competency and Intellectual Leadership Competency and project Performance.Item “Impact of project management practices on client agency relationship with moderating role of corporate reputation”(UMT Lahore, 2021) Ihtisham KhaliqThis current research intends to examine the dimensions of agency performance in advertising agencies and their impact on the relationship quality between advertising agencies and its clients. It is well documented in the literature that continuing long-term relationships is a key important for advertising agencies in this competitive environment. This study expands the concept of project management in an advertising industry in order to retain the clients of an advertising industry. Based on Project Management and Relationship Theory, this study supports the link between agency performance, perceived corporate reputation and client satisfaction and loyalty. It targets businesses which acquire the services of marketing solutions or an advertising industry; hence, participants of study were selected from different business databases providing details of key decision makers in their firm based in Pakistan. Data was collected through an online survey. The results of a survey involving 250 business personnel help in understanding how project management can improve agency performance which has a significant role on satisfaction and loyalty of the client. Also, the findings revealed perceived corporate reputation has an impact on relationship quality between agency and its client as it has a moderating effect between agency performance and client satisfaction and loyalty.Item Impact of transformational leadership on project success:(UMT Lahore, 2021) Noreen FayyazThis study examined the impact of transformational leadership on project success with the moderating role of emotional intelligence. The study was conducted on NGOs providing healthcare services in Lahore, Pakistan. This study was quantitative in nature. Data was gathered from 260 respondents through standardized questionnaire working on healthcare projects of Lahore. SPSS 22 was applied for data analysis. The findings of this study showed the insignificant effect of transformational leadership on project success. However, a very strong impact of moderator i-e emotional intelligence was observed among the relationship of transformational leadership and project success. The theoretical and practical implications of study are substantial addition for the future researchers in the domain of project management.Item “Impact of project management practices on i project performance:(UMT Lahore, 2021) Atiqa HafeezThe aim of this study is to assess the impact of project management practices on non-governmental organization’s educational projects with the mediating role of transformational leadership style. The data for this study was gathered from the non governmental organizations working in Lahore and Multan providing primary education in different districts of these cities. Data was collected through standardized questionnaire from the employees of the educational organizations. Results of this study showed that project management practices positively predicts the relationship between project management practices and project performance. The study also reveals the mediating impact of transformational leadership on project performance. Transformational Leadership has positively significant impact on the project performance. The findings of the study demonstrate that project management practices positively impacts project success and positively mediates by Transformational Leadership.Item Impact of stakeholder engagement and stakeholder communication on trust in a project:(UMT Lahore, 2021) Roshan ZameerIn the current era where the diverse nature of fast-track projects with limited budgets are ongoing, Stakeholder Management considered one of the critical success factors of the project. Among the reasons that affect project goals, trust of stakeholders impacts the most. Identification of stakeholder, involvement, communication and engagement are major elements of Stakeholder Management. This study applies stakeholder theory which is one of the knowledge areas in project management to examine the influence of stakeholder engagement and stakeholder communication on trust of stakeholders in a project with moderating role of project manager. This study also bridges that gap in literature by examining the role of project manager as moderator. Stakeholder Management is a prime concern on projects and success of the project is mainly dependent on trust of stakeholders on the project. Data was gathered from key stakeholders working on project-based organizations. After that, data analysed for linear moderation by using SPSS v.23 Hayes process macro v 3.5. The results of this study shows that there is a strong positive impact of stakeholder communication on trust in a project as well as stakeholder engagement positively influences the trust of stakeholders in the project. The results also show that the role of project manager is having direct impact on trust but it has no moderating effect on relation of stakeholder communication and stakeholder engagement on trust in a project. For future researchers, it is suggested that the role of project manager should be analysed as mediator variable.Item The effects of total quality management (tqm) practices on pakistani manufacturing and servicing organizations(UMT Lahore, 2021) Muhammad AhmadThis study focused on the influence of total quality management practices (TQM) on financial performance in terms of maker shares, sale and profit ratio and non-financial performance in terms of employees’ satisfaction, absenteeism and tardiness rate, satisfaction of the customers of Pakistani manufacturing and servicing organizations. Another purpose of this study was to know whether adoption and implementation of quality practices depend on company size (in terms of assets, number of employees) or not. This study examined the five constructs of TQM from literature which were Organizational Leadership (OL), Customer Focus (CF), Continuous Improvement (CI), Strategic Based Planning (SBP) and Organizational Culture (OC). The data was collected through questionnaires from managerial and technical staffs and analysis of data done using IBM SPSS version 23. The results shows that there is positive strong impact of total quality management practices on Pakistani manufacturing and servicing organizations.Item The automation of traffic signals for emergency services by using cloud computing and multi agents(UMT Lahore, 2021) Irfan FarooqThis investigation aims to identify the issues and problems in our current traffic signal system for emergency services in the light of literature review and Traffic flow theory and Theory of highway traffic signals describing word wide most common problems like waste of time issues, delays in emergency services, mortality issues, traffic blockage issues etc. to provide comprehensive understanding the issues related to traffic congestion, and how it would contribute to the development of new methods to resolve the issues in current traffic control system for emergency services. By collecting data based on theory by interviews from respondents including common people, emergency vehicle drives, traffic wardens and officials and analysed in NVIVO with the help of word cloud and noding, themes are generated that relates to problems described in theories to achieve our objectives to find problems in signal control system for emergency services. With the help literature review and theories the performance of the traffic control systems can be improved, if the management implements the system which is provided in this study to upgrade traffic signals structure for emergency services by using multi-agent system. Amulti-agent system can work on different tasks in a distributed environment to achieve single global goal. This research presents a new architecture by utilizing the power of multi-agent system and cloud computing to handle the exigency services in the urban transportation system, agents are deployed at each signal node which collect information and transmit it to the cloud services that defined a priority mechanism to handle multiple emergency services.Item Examining the influence of system, information and service 1 quality factors on user performance in banking sector: the mediating role of user satisfaction(UMT Lahore, 2021) Ayesha MalikNow-a-days technological advancement has revolutionized organizational procedures to get competitive advantage. The Management information system plays a significant role to help organizations to cope technological revolution challenges. The success of information system depends upon user performance. System, information and service quality factors play a vital part to enhance employee‟s effectiveness by motivating the employees to contribute their significant role in information system success. The data for this study was collected from 220 employees using ERP system in banking sector in Pakistan. Subsequent analysis performed using structural equation modeling (SEM) through the software of SmartPLS 3.0, the results indicates that the overall information system quality has a positive impact on user satisfaction and user satisfaction has a significant impact on user performance. At the same time, this study provides the theoretical and practical implications for practitioners and managers using the information system that facilitation of user satisfaction can increase the user performance tremendously.Item Exploring factors contributing in outcome of it offshore projects(UMT Lahore, 2021) MUBEENA MalikA Factor analysis was used to measure the influence of communication cross culture difference on project outcome in IT offshore industry of Pakistan, Moreover, all these factors are formed in constructs like project delay project outcome communication culture, and all these have sub constructs which was observed and validates that these constructs play vital role in project outcome Project outcome is comprised of nine factors. Project outcome is in line with study in which emphasis was on management issues beside theses key magnitudes of values, organizational policies and the procedure of dispersed growth across time and space. We identify the underlying pattern of Project outcome (PO) and its sub constructs (Revision of specifications, no training, foreign work regulation changing requirements, foreign rules and regulation, Focused team,telecommunication, budget overrun, latest technology) in context of Pakistan.
