Impact of predictive and agile project management approaches on project success:
    (UMT Lahore, 2024) Hajira Tahir
The research examines the mediating effect of Teamwork Quality (TWQ) on Predictive Project Management (PPM) to Agile Project Management (APM) and Project Success (PS). With a cross sectional research approach, data from 299 IT industry project managers were collected and analyzed. Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling examined the intricate relationships between PPM, APM, TWQ, and PS. The results show that PPM and APM support project success and reinforce systematic planning complemented by adaptable control measures. Furthermore, this study illustrates that TWQ positively mediates the association between PPM, APM, and PS. This implies that while PPM and APM individually have positive influences on project results, they each do so through the improvement in the quality of collaboration. Productive collaboration, cultivated by PPM and APM practices, results in increased communication, coordination, and resolution of problems and, ultimately, successful delivery of projects. The study reinforces Resource-Based Theory, which signifies that efficient project management methods and quality collaboration are organizational resources that help foster competitive advantage. These findings provide actionable insights to stakeholders, highlighting the necessity of developing high-quality collaboration and blending planned and adaptive project management approaches to enhance project delivery, effectiveness, and stakeholder satisfaction. Implications for future research are presented, including longitudinal studies, cross-industry comparisons, and investigation of other mediating variables such as leadership styles. The study's findings, which are reiterated here, generally emphasize the synergistic interaction between sound management practices and high quality teams in delivering successful project results, providing the audience with reassurance and confidence in the research's conclusions.

Impact of organizational culture on project success:
    (UMT Lahore, 2024) Sufyan Sajid
The research explores the influence of organizational culture on project success, with a particular emphasis on the moderating influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), as it fits within the theoretical construct of Sociotechnical Systems (STS) Theory. As organizations adopt AI-driven tools to gain project performance benefits, understanding the relationship between culture and technology is increasingly essential. A quantitative, cross-sectional study was undertaken to collect data from a purposively selected sample of 436 project professionals from IT industry. The study found a significant positive relationship between organizational culture and project success demonstrating that cultural attributes such as collaboration, communication, adaptability, and common values contribute to projects achieving their desired outcomes. Conversely, the results of the study identified the presence of a negative moderating relationship between AI and the organizational culture and project success relationship. Its mean, if AI techniques are introduced to organizations without due consideration, AI may disrupt the team's cohesiveness, autonomy, and the positive effects of culture on project outcomes. This partly calls into question the applicability of STS Theory, as we saw only a partial convergence of the social and technical systems. The research highlights the importance of aligning AI with cultural values through participatory implementation, transparency, and employee alignment. While the findings of the study are valuable, limitations include being cross-sectional, focused on a single nation, and having a stable and select number of variables studied. Future studies may explore cross-cultural or longitudinal research and also consider additional factors such as leadership, digital readiness, and change management. The study contributes to a better understanding of how cultural and technological factors jointly affect project success in digitally transforming organizations

Impact of project governance on project success under the mediating role of stakeholder management.
(UMT Lahore, 2024) ABDUL REHMAN AKBAR
Project managers are under increasing pressure to show funding agencies why their projects are valuable. However, most programs lack a strong mechanism to realize this strategic value. Although it is recognized in the literature that project governance is essential to facilitate the realization of benefits, there is little empirical data in this area of research. In light of this, this study explores the links between successful project governance, benefits management, and project outcomes. A scale to assess good project governance was modified and validated using information from earlier studies. The results of the study show that good project governance improves project success through stakeholder engagement, empowerment and involvement, and direct improvement of risk control. The best stakeholder management and project governance techniques were also discovered to improve project success. Some examples of these techniques include creating and maintaining a great business case for a project. The resulting model lays the foundation for a theory that explains how effective project governance can improve project success and achieve strategic goals by integrating stakeholder management processes into the project process. This study examines the relationship between project governance and project success from the perspectives of agency theory and stakeholder theory. In order to do this, project governance is operationalized as follows: a) the ratio of shareholder management to stakeholder management in different projects in different industries. A nationwide cross-sectional online survey produced 253 valid responses. Regression and factor studies have shown that there is a correlation between the project governance model of the parent company that manages the project and the success of the project. The results of the study confirm the importance of stakeholder management and project governance for the successful completion of the project. This study experimentally examines the impact of project governance on project performance, both directly and through the mediating effects of stakeholder engagement, empowerment, and risk management. The results of the study were obtained using responses from Process Macro and SPSS, as well as the Pakistan project. This study finds that project governance has a significant positive impact on project success, both directly and through the mediating effects of stakeholder engagement, intervention, empowerment and risk control. The results of the study will help developing country companies, as well as Pakistani companies, to monitor projects in various sectors and social sectors through effective project governance and stakeholder management, thereby improving project performance.

Impact of servant leadership on project success under mediating role of trust and psychological empowerment
(UMT Lahore, 2024) SYED ZEESHAN ATHER
This study researches the effect of worker initiative on project achievement, zeroing in on the intervening jobs of trust and mental strengthening. In the undeniably mind boggling and dynamic conditions of present day projects, administration assumes a basic part in deciding task results. Worker initiative, with its accentuation on serving, enabling, and encouraging the improvement of colleagues, has acquired consideration as an administration style that can upgrade hierarchical achievement. Notwithstanding, its particular impacts on project achievement, especially according to the intervening impacts of trust and mental strengthening, remain underexplored. This examination tends to these holes by analyzing how worker authority adds to project achievement both straightforwardly and by implication through trust and mental strengthening. The review utilizes a quantitative methodology, using study information gathered from project directors and colleagues across different ventures. Trust is inspected as a basic middle person, impacting group elements and cooperation, while mental strengthening is investigated as a component that improves colleagues' inspiration, independence, and commitment to project objectives. The discoveries uncover that worker initiative decidedly influences project achievement, both straightforwardly and through its capacity to construct trust inside groups. Furthermore, mental strengthening fundamentally intervenes this relationship, proposing that pioneers who enable their groups cultivate more prominent responsibility and adequacy in accomplishing project targets. Together, trust and mental strengthening make a synergistic impact, further improving the impact of worker initiative on project results. This study adds to both the hypothetical comprehension of administration in project the executives and offers useful bits of knowledge for project directors. By embracing worker initiative practices and encouraging trust and strengthening, chiefs can essentially further develop project execution, prompting higher paces of accomplishment and more fulfilled partners. The exploration gives suggestions to extend directors on the most proficient method to really execute worker initiative to make a more enabled, roused, and high-performing project climate.

Analyzing the impact of agile project management on organization performance
    (UMT Lahore, 2024) QADIR AMIN
This research is conducted to analyze the impact of Balanced Agile Project Management on firm success in IT Industry of Pakistan. Relevant literature was studied, and based on that, a research framework was built. All variables of this model were tested by gathering data by spreading the Google Form Questionnaire to 300 senior project managers. Out of these 300, 113 respondents fill the questionnaire to analyze the impact of agile project management. After data analysis based on the variables of framework and demographics, all objectives and hypotheses were accepted. There were some limitations, especially for data collection from Sr. Project and Program Managers in the IT industry of Pakistan. Future research can be done on the basis of things other than the IT industry's leadership and coordination. A primary challenge confronting organizations lies in finding the proper equilibrium between granting autonomy to teams and maintaining overarching control to align them with the corporate ethos. The absence of a comprehensive study on this intricate balance leaves organizations at risk of teams deviating from strategic objectives, resulting in a lack of coherence in organizational efforts. A critical question that arises in this setting is, "How can organizations empower autonomous agile teams with the authority and competence to chart directions for new products, facilitating the delivery of innovative and high-quality software at an accelerated pace"

Analyzing the impact of leadership competencies on project success:
(UMT Lahore, 2024) Ramsha Binte Zikeria
The objective of this research is to see the influence of transformational leadership competencies on project success in fashion industry, where the mediating role of trust and the moderating role of knowledge sharing are involved. This research employed the quantitative research approach where data was collected through cross sectional survey from professionals in Lahore’s fashion sector including project managers, team leaders, and designers. The analysis implies that although strategic decision making, emotional intelligence and communication are essential for transformational leadership competence to manage the fashion industry, influence of these on project success is not as strong as suggested. Additionally, while trust does not significantly mediate the effect of leadership competencies on project success; knowledge sharing does not significantly moderate this effect. These findings show that the leadership, trust and knowledge sharing dynamic is more complicated and nuanced than previously recognized, specifically in a creative and dynamic environment like fashion. The research adds to the body of knowledge on project management with regard to how transformational leadership can be practiced in less orthodox settings and that the fashion industry needs a more holistic perspective to leadership and project management. The study is limited by measurement reliability, as well as the cross-sectional design which prevents causal inferences. This study used a deductive research approach, the analysis conducted is on IBM SPSS, and the sample size is 200-300 respondents.

The moderating impact of stakeholder engagement on the relationship between emotional intelligence and project success
    (UMT Lahore, 2024) Muhammad Shahneel
The thesis aims to study the effect of Emotional Intelligence on project success by concentrating on the moderating role of stakeholder engagement through a sample size of 250 people working in Pakistan's projected organizations. Regression test was applied on SPSS software. The study demonstrates that EI significantly impacts the project success. However, stakeholder engagement is the best catalyst for the beneficial effect of EI because emotionally intelligent leaders are better informed about the needs of stakeholders and are in a better capacity to deal with these. This study advances the viewpoint that organizations need to invest in EI training and stakeholder engagement practices for optimal utilization of the success of projects. This requires an environment that respects emotional intelligence and stakeholder cooperation to deliver far more successful project outcomes than are quite commonplace these days in pretty complex environments. The findings give policymakers, decision-makers, industrialists, and government agencies crucial information on creating supportive frameworks for emotional intelligence and stakeholder engagement in project management. Such insights can be helpful for decision-makers to carry out targeted strategies that enhance project performance through improved EI and stakeholder practices. Industrialists can apply these approaches during projects. This strengthens the relationship with stakeholders. Ultimately, it optimizes the project success rates, thus enhancing management effectiveness through strategic intervention in emotional intelligence and stakeholder engagement.

Relationship between emotional intelligence, machiavellianism & organizational citizenship behavior (ocb)
(UMT Lahore, 2024) Sifat Ullah Khan
This study has been conducted to explain the bright and the dark side of emotional intelligence. The term Machiavellianism has been used to define the dark side of emotional intelligence. We have explained Machiavellianism and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) and checked the impact of Machiavellianism on OCB. Previous research shows that Machiavellianism (MACH) has negative impact on Organizational Citizenship Behavior. in this research we have re-examined the impact of the overall impact of MACH on OCB and also have check the impact of the 4 constructs of MACH on OCB individually. We have used deductive approach to do our quantitative analysis. As our research is based on numbers and will do quantifiable measurable analysis that is why the methodology falls under positivism philosophy of research. Our questionnaire was based on the scale which were already established to measure MACH & OCB individually. We have used convenient sampling technique of non-probability type of sampling. We have got 411 responses from some specific organizations against the chosen scale/questionnaire. Then before doing further analysis, we have done Mahalanobis distance to remove outliers using SPSS, and then we have found some abnormal distribution of the data, so to normalize the distribution we have run some statistical tools to make the data normalize, we had to delete 32 abnormal responses to make the data more authentic for further analysis. In the analysis section first of all we have checked either the scale is reliable or not, which in most of tests the scale has been found reliable. In the next stage we tested the hypothesis using correlation analysis. We have tested all the hypothesis, we wanted to check the negative impact of Machiavellianism on Organizational Behavior, but in the results, we A B S T R AC T IMPACT OF MACHIAVELLIANISM ON OCB have found that MACH has positive on OCB, although all the relationships were found significant. In the next stage we have done regression analysis to check the hypothesis and check the impact and the intensity of the impact or MACH (IV) on the OCB (DV). Where we have again found the MACH has positive impact on OCB, although the impact was moderate but still it was found positive which proves that all of our hypothesis were rejected.

Impact of artificial intelligence technology adoption behavior on project success:
    (UMT Lahore, 2024) Eaman Mansha
This research investigates the impact of artificial intelligence adoption (AI) on project success (PS) with project manager competencies as a moderator. To investigate their contributions to project outcomes, the research targets three AI-adoption dimensions; innovative attitude, peer influence, and task-fit technology. Data from 250 respondents were utilized and processed using PLS Smart through convenience sampling. Results shows that AI has significant positive impact on project success. However, our research yielded an unexpected result: project manager competencies did not significantly mediate the AI-PS relationship. This finding suggests that AI has a direct impact on project success. The increasing use of self-driving AI project management tools, which reduce human involvement in decision-making, resource allocation, and risk control, could be a contributing factor. The growing standardization and accessibility of AI solutions also make it easier for project managers at all levels to enhance their applications. These findings have significant implications for project management practices, highlighting the need for project managers to adapt to the changing landscape of AI in their field. While the current sample is functional, it is important for future research to prioritize longitudinal studies. Companies are urged to invest in AI-based technology, equip project managers with AI literacy, and establish ethical governance frameworks for AI. This research contributes to the understanding of AI's impact on project management practices. However, the cross-sectional nature of this study and the ongoing transformation in the industry necessitate further investigation into AI adoption over longer terms, leadership effects, and ethical considerations. These findings underscore the revolutionary potential of AI in enhancing project success and the need to manage the integration of AI with human agency.
