Item Comparative analysis of SDN on the basis of Architecture, controllers & APIs(UMT, Lahore, 2020) Zain Abbas Asdi, Kainat Bashir and Misbah GahfoorSoftware Defined Networking (SDN) is a rising space. It has been pulling in a great deal of consideration from researchers, specialist organizations and industrialists. For knowing the extent of SDN, we should have a speedy look on what is SDN and what does it give. Customary systems or the systems that are right now utilized by a large portion of the business include committed equipment which are application explicit. This makes the network static and inflexible. The information to be sent, the beneficiary, the sender and the traffic is dealt with by a similar unit. With the approach of SDN, the control plane and the information plane are isolated and subsequently the reflections of lower arrange foundation usefulness is presented. This research aims to conduct an experiment with two topologies. One Topology is based on routing policies and the Second is based on switching policies. The aim will revolve around a local area segment which is configured with routing and switching protocols API’s and controller which will then help analyze the SDN (Software Defined Network) and decouple control plane and data plane from the standard network. This research will adopt adequate testing measures for the routing and switching protocols such as Open Shortest Path First, Routing Information Protocol, Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol, Border Gateway Protocol, Spanning Tree Protocol, Dynamic Trunking Protocol, and Bridge Protocol Data Unit.Item Biometric attendance system(UMT, Lahore, 2020) Ateeb Hassan, Waqas Ahmed and Hassnain AhmedMost of the organizations are using an android based biometric attendance system which has less space to store data in them. These machines have a local database in which all the records of the employees are stored. They have to get synchronized with the server on weekly or monthly bases according to the organization’s use. When an organization changes the duty of its employee from one department to another department then they have to change the database of the android biometric attendance machines. Which is a difficult task to do. Organizations also have to duplicate some of the employee records which will get difficult to synchronize. Due to these issues, our system BAS (Biometric Attendance System) has a Centralized database stored in the server. The server is an organization local, only accessible within the organization. There will be more capacity in our system and there will be no need of creating duplicate records of employees. All the biometric machines are connected with the server. Which will take some time to send and receive a request from the server. This will help the organization to synchronize the database after every attendance in the server. Winning in Cricket matches totally depends on many features like home advantage, performances in the previous matches, experience in the previous matches, performance at the specific ground, performance against the specific country and the current situation of the team and the players. They play hard to win. During the past few years’ lot of work and research have been done which measure the player performance and their winning probability. In this work a model has been proposed that predicts the result of the match that which team is about to win the match based on the factors studied above. We also work hard for our project. This method predicts the outcome of the match considering the same attributes as of the previous method along with the target given to the batting team. These two methods have been implemented using Machine Learning Algorithms. These contains KNN and other algorithms. Technology have overtaken our lives so we have to bring every setup under its shadow. Internet of Things (IOT) is the main idea behind controlling and monitoring the feeding activity. Now the main issue that arises is feeding the cattle properly and in an effective and efficient way and reduce the residual waste which can perform by the smart feeding system. In this project we are proposing the implementation of the Internet of Things (IOT) in dairy development to enhance the feeding system performance, to achieve the business objectives and attain the aim of safe and clean dairy under quality insurance goal. Techniques are being used in dairy are not effective and old, too. Every activity is been performed manually and for this labor is to be appointed which automatically increase the cost, hence farm owner has to increase the price and it consume lot of time. While animal growth issues remain there to tackle along with medication care. IOT base smart feeding brings the smart solution to improvise the feeding system, care about the cattle health through notification and functional with SMS alert if any error occurred in the process. While Devices are monitored for alerts regarding its usage. In Pakistan govt. is forming the policies for poultry and dairy and farming is still done manually around the country. Smart medicine vending machine is an (IoT) based automatically work through the command which is given by the Application. Every person tries its best to control his/her health but they can’t monitor their own health 24/7 as technology has overtaken our life’s we have to bring every setup under its shadow. Internet of Things (IoT) is the main idea behind giving the medicine automatically by the machine. Now the main issue is how the machine is knowing that I have to give this medicine to this person. This machine is controlled by Arduino and the WiFi Chip through which the vending machine is connected. In this project, we are combining the Internet of Things (IoT) and ARDUINO working together and making a system that will give medicine to the patients according to the Doctor’s Prescription. I am trying to save this food till the maximum extent and provide it to the people who need it! I am making a web application so that the user/donator can add the food which he wants to donate and from that application the consumer can get to know about that food. I also have a middle layer that are collection centers. At those centers the food will be fetched and tested to avoid unhealthy food to be consumed by the consumers. From these centers the food will be approved and will be shown at the site. Many of the assumptions that we make about blind people are really not problems and then there are many other things that we do not imagine as problems but they are! Navigating around the Places, Finding Reading Materials, Arranging Clothes, Overly helpful Individuals and Getting Things of Independence etc. Actually we are focusing on first problem because the biggest challenge for a blind person, especially the one with the complete loss of vision, is to navigate around places. Blind man who is dependent on others on many aspects like moving from one place to another and also he cannot detect obstacles in his way while moving. Sometimes, a blind person forgets where he is now and how to move from one room to other even in his own house. Similarly, he forgets the destination while he is away from home. The idea is to facilities a blind person through a stick that will allow him to resolve such issues. Our Project is about the Smart Stick for the blind people. We are giving a new concept of a stick having sensors and cameras which enables a blind person for detecting obstacles and move to his destination without any help of other person. The stick will have a camera mounted on it and the camera is viewing the calibrated roofs of the house. By processing the images of the roof, the smart stick will calculate the complete route from current location to his destination where he wants to be and give directions in the form of voice (Move Right, Left, Forward and Backward) so that blind man can move freely. In global market there are many stick having this feature like google map and hurdles detector but we introduce an Indoor feature to help the blind man to reach his destination at home like bedroom, washroom and kitchen etc.Item MedTec(UMT, Lahore, 2020) Muhammad Umair Amin, Muhammad Umair Saleem and Sadaqat HussainMEDTECH has the ability to tell the patient about the doctor. Further MEDTECH will provide some extra luxury facilities to user like medication alert this will remind the patient to take medication alert on the time. MEDTECH has the feature which they called nutrition will allows the user who are conscious about their health to take care of their health if someone wants to loss or gain their weight this feature is for them. With weekly disease alert all the users and doctors will be notified with the disease with is viral on that week.
