Item Impact of employee’s motivation, and perceived demographic characteristics of public on emotional labor in public organization of Pakistan(UMT, Lahore, 2019) Ali Raza BabarThis project has discussed emotional labor's concept by using different scales and strategies like surface acting, deep acting, emotional consonance, and suppression. In the same way, demographic characteristics are also discussed. In public offices employees are deeply involved in emotional activities because their involvement with people are on a daily bases and people reaction varies from person to person. This research is quantitative and almost 100 employees of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Services Hospital Lahore (SHL) participated in the data collection process. This thesis is constructed on primary data and this data is collected by the help of a questionnaire. After that data was further analyzed through software called Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) and further analyzed by descriptive statistics and linear regression. Linear regression was carried out to calculate the significant values of variables. Results show that emotional labor is more engaged with deep acting and demographic characteristic. Moreover according to a linear regression result employee’s motivation has an inverse relation with deep acting. If we increase employee motivation the deep acting will decrease. This analysis provides implication for the Federal Board of Revenue and Services Hospital Lahore as how to familiarize and employ the effective emotion’s strategies.Item Impact of Technology on the Performance of Lahore City Traffic Police(UMT, Lahore, 2019) Abdul RehmanThe potency and effectiveness of the city traffic police is judged by its ability to provide for conditions of safe and smooth movement of citizens in the city. The responsibility of the police is to ensure law and order and across-the-board public service delivery in the city. Traffic police is a vital part of the police force entrusted with the responsibility of public safety and security. A study was conducted in Lahore, the capital city of the Punjab, to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of the Lahore Traffic Police (LTP) along with the performance of the Punjab Safe City Authority (PSCA). The study appraised what kind of services LTP is providing along with PSCA and with what outcomes. Data are collected from the Lahore Traffic Police and Punjab Safe City Authority which is primary data. A questionnaire was used to collect data and conduct survey covering departmental division of work, operational collaboration between the two agencies, compartmentalization of functions, use of technology, modification of laws and rules, and future developmental plans. The number of street children in Pakistan reaches 50 million and increases daily. Street children, children living and living in the city. They usually grow in public places, train stations or bridges in the world's largest cities. In the light of conflicts with their family, they prefer the children to return home. They want to stay away from home. According to these children, in this case, the result of their dissatisfaction and the direct consequences of life in the city, this poses a serious risk to the physical and mental problems of different children. The problems faced by street children are presented to health care, education, injury, torture, community approval, police arrest and robbery. After being stabilized, the child goes to the middle of each day for several hours every day. When focused, the basic ethics and deeper quality of the child's work are presented as stories that allow you to play at home and have fun with other children. The article also stated that begirt the role of society and non-governmental organizations in informal school education for children. Based on this research-based research, less research was done before the issue. Through the lines, the researcher examined the working strategy and gathered information with a structured meeting. Six individual teachers from these research centers and two individual researchers were organized and registered by 10 social workers who worked to change these children. According to their answers, researchers analyze the problems of street children more and accept illegal activities that harm society. The researchers also analyze that NGOs play an important role in protecting and developing children.
