The Auto cart will be programmed to play a variety of roles depending on the needs of the day. Movements are forward backward, left and right. For remembering location routes are pre-defined and for following the owner sonar sensor being used. One android application will be developed for controlling and commanding the AutoCart. On commands of the owner it will reach the destination autonomously on a pre-defined map. It will wait at the destination for a certain timeout and will leave the place when timeout comes or by a command. Remote operation is achieved by any smart phone with Android Operating System upon a GUI based touch screen operation. The Advisors can also approve and dis-approve the projects ideas of the students. They can find the Group members for their projects without any problem. Students can find the Advisors and co-advisors in a manner way. It will reduce and save a lot of time for the students and the teachers and prevent both from cohesive Environment. This system will also help the university department in a systematical way to provide the facilities for the teachers and students. Placing order upon being physically present in cafeteria of the institution is something that involves time wastage and also create a mess in the cafeteria. Sometimes a student or any respected faculty member may have no time to waste while waiting for their order to be first noted and then provided. We imagined a system doing all the waiting part and also providing facility to place order while being physically present anywhere in the institution and user (student/faculty member) will just have to collect their order from cafeteria, upon making payments. And so we have constructed a site that is performing our goal in a very well organized manner.Item CAPSULE NEURAL NETWORK FOR AUTOMATIC DETECTION OF DIABETIC RETINOPATHY(UMT, Lahore, 2018) RUHAMA SARDARDiabetic Retinopathy (DR) is a disease which becomes the cause of blindness and visual impairment usually in middle-aged patients. It is estimated that over 93 million people are affected by DR. Detection of Diabetic Retinopathy manually is a very time consuming and expensive task, which requires trained ophthalmologists to examine and evaluate DR using digital fundus photographs of the retina. Many researchers are building CAD techniques from many decades for timely detection and reducing the burden of ophthalmologists. Deep learning techniques have boosted the performance of fundus diabetic retinopathy (DR) image classification. More precisely, convolutional neural network (CNN) achieves superior performance to that of the conventional machine or deep learning algorithms. Recently, in November 2017, a novel type of neural network named capsule network (CapsNet) was introduced to overcome the shortcoming of traditional CNN models. In this thesis research, we present three CapsNet architectures with limited samples for five stage DR classification, which is inspired by the simplicity and comparability of the shallower deep learning models. The presented CapsNet architectures were trained using publicly available Kaggle dataset. The experimental results show that CapsNet shows convergence behavior and better accuracy for the complex dataset. For CapsNet by using the kaggle dataset, achieves 76% accuracy, 69% sensitivity, 83% specificity respectively. This can be considered as better performance for such a newly developed model which lack much important information till now. Moreover, we observed that training the CapsNet model requires significant computational resources and its performance falls below the average performance level of CNN. However, we argue that CapsNet seems to be a promising technique for overcoming the limitation of CNN. Further by using more robust computational resources and refine CapsNet architectures, the better performance can be achieved but still, our proposed system can be used to diagnose DR in early stages and assist in the grading of diabetic retinopathy.Item Carpooling (Travel with Comfort)(UMT, Lahore, 2018) ABDUL REHMAN, ANAS HAFEEZ AWAN and MIAN MUHAMMAD ALI SHAHZADCarpooling is a transport system based on the combined use of private vehicles that can reduce the trouble of travelers. We intend to make an Android based application that will let people know that vehicles can be available in the desired way available for carpools that they can sign in for. This application is a meeting point for carpoolers. Users can share rides. Those traveling in the Apple Driver who travels to work alone can request to fellow travelers through our colleagues. For those who use a public vehicles this application can be used to conduct drivers daily to travel to the same destination and want to share the ride. This will take the user to login to the app. It intends to people who want to make it a cheap matter because you are sharing with fellow passengers, but also help in the environment by reducing pollution and traffic on the roads. Carpooling was encouraged to save fuel. The passenger and the driver will enter their current location, destination and travel time. Passengers get information about drivers. The same way to travel. The passenger can confirm a specific driver and will be sent to a driver confirming the passenger and seats accordingly. It covers security matters in mind with women's hearts and will include passengers' types for family, men and women only. The driver also has the convenience that if they are using this app, they can save the amount of fuel paid by other passengers in this particular ride. Apart from this, he will get the company of different cultural and community people, and its social circle also increases.Item Citizen Online(UMT, Lahore, 2018) Hamza Maqsood, S.M. Shaharyar Hussaini and Bilal Ahmed khanThe present world is technology driven as it is employed by many fields in the performance of their operation. In the case of law enforcement agencies, this is evident in the use of automatics criminal report system worldwide to keep record of crime and criminals involved. Crime being an act against the law of a society is a threat to the well-being of the populace and so, requires efficient and effective monitoring. For this reason, we have been developed to achieve this purpose. However, in Pakistan, the reporting employed is majorly manual, which is, the use of pen and paper. This records are therefore susceptible to destruction from pests and uncensored manipulation by both authorized and unauthorized personnel. This crude method has resulted in problems in the areas of authenticity, security, retrieval, storage. This research aims to design and implement a computerized real time crime reporting system. In developing this application, the waterfall model of system development was adopted through the stages of requirement elicitation from stakeholders of the application to the systems design and analysis using tools such as entity relationship diagrams for the database and use case diagrams which describe user requirements.Item Class Coordination System for UMT(UMT, Lahore, 2018) Hafiz Muhammad Adeel Arshad, Safyan Arshad and Nouman SohailClass coordination system is a web based project which is related to everyone in the university the teachers teaching the course , the student studying the course ,the coordinator which are manualyy setting the time table over every day. As the student have to search for the class and section everyday and it waste their preciious time while searcing for the class and and section in a time when there is a large amount of crowd near to the notice board.On the other hand teacher has to go through the Excel file sent to them on the daily bases which is too hactic for them also,so my idea is to reduce the loss of time and effort for the main two stakeholders. Morever,This web based project is very helpul and will also be fully responsive on all the deviced providin a better view using UI & UX. The primary stakeholders will get the latest time table of the day in the morning.This will help them of getting in to the trouble of searching their specific sectionItem Credit Card Anomaly Detection Using Hidden Markov Model(UMT, Lahore, 2018) AMIR KHAN and ARHAM ALIRapid development of technology also comes with the drawbacks. As most of the people are moving towards the shopping through credit cards. Away from web there are many places where usage of credit card had increased at the same time survey shows frauds in this field are also increasing at same rate. Many researches are working on new models for solving this problem. This project is part of that research which will take part in solving this problem.Item Diabetic Retinopathy Detection using Deep Learning(UMT, Lahore, 2018) Muaaz Arif Rasul, Arsam Awan and Sohaib AnwaarDiabetic Retinopathy is the human eye disease with people having diabetes which makes harm to eyes and may even cause visual deficiency. Detection of Diabetic Retinopathy in early stages is essential to keep away from blindness. There's been much treatment for this disease but it’s a lot time taking and may even include many eye tests. The target of our project is to give accurate and less time taking results by applying different deep neural networks algorithms to classify different eyes infected by the illness. The objective of this project is to implement an automated detection of diabetic retinopathy (DR) using RGB images. By using deep learning which will determine Five Different classifications. An early detection of diabetic retinopathy enables medication to be performed to prevent or delay visual loss, and to increase awareness and knowledge of DR among people with diabetes.Item DISON’s SHOOT(UMT, Lahore, 2018) Saman Zaheer, Sobia Arshad Rana and Sana ShafiqIt’s a First Person Shooting game in which the player sees the action through the eyes of the player character. In this game, you need to shoot the adversaries with your weapons. The essential point of the player of this game is to shoot the adversary legends with the given weapons. We have utilized UNITY to make this venture working. It does not have additional objectives in the game and it is not more time consuming. It has a shooter with predetermined character movement, with the shooting element under player control. The game keeps the player engaged by throwing in exciting challenges on every chapter. No two playthrough i.e levels are exactly alike, but the basic gameplay never changes from map to map. The project includes different chapters of game with documentation. Each chapter will include everything that should be available in a FPS game. Our representative will also survey the request maker for the confirmation of the request. All data can be retrieve easily because of generic online database along with full encryption system keeping all data secure without slowing down the system.Item Home Security System(2018) Seenam Amir, Sajid Naeem and Muhammad UmerThe study proposes effective and time efficient face recognition system. The proposed method uses a hybrid form of approach which uses Haar- like features. These features are extracted by applying Voila Jones algorithm. Subsequently Local Binary Pattern Histograms is used to train on these features. The data used for experimentation is obtained from Yale University. It includes normal as well as face that are difficult to identify. The difficulty is due to varying amount of light and variation in poses. The distinguishing feature of proposed approach in comparison to conventional approaches is found to be stable and highly accurate. On top of it, it increases the number of images (frames) processed per second. This frame rate, is observed to be 40 which is quite high when compared with the conventional approaches.
