Item 1Click(UMT Lahore, 2015-08-10) Taimur Adil; Ayaz Ishaq; Junaid Afzal; Ayaz QaiserRanking or evaluation of different service providers is not available, and it is difficult to visit them physically or find the availability of service providers. It is also difficult to manage bookings for marriage halls. Currently, only one portal exists that manages only a few service providers. Considering all these problems, we are developing a web-based consumer portal that will help users find different types of marriage halls, caterers, event planners, photographers, and cinematatographers in their area. Our system will allow registered users to log in and make reviews and ratings on their desired service provider pages. It will also allow both registered and non-registered users to search and filter service providers such as marriage halls or event managers. Last but not least, our system allows service providers to log in and perform create, delete, update, and view operations on the services they offer through our portal.Item Academic management system(UMT Lahore, 2015-10) Muhammad Umar Munir; Muhammad Talha Saleem; Touqeer Ahmad Nasir; Muhammad Adil YaqoobAcademic management system is designed to minimize the loopholes of an educational institution. It is a kind of system that can increase efficiency in managing course documents, assignments, and reports. It can reduce the workload of teachers and also save time in collecting paperwork from students in academics. Due to the lack of a simple, user-friendly academic management system for primary, secondary, and private education sectors, this project aims to develop an AMS based on web usability design rules, as well as to provide a centralized education system for students, guardians, and teachers for course documents and assignment management. The system will provide a login module for members to facilitate the application procedure.Item Al-jannat management system(UMT Lahore, 2015-12-30) Bushra Shahid; M.Saad SaleemThe project aims at creating an online hotel management system which can be used by customers to reserve hotel halls. The user can check availability of hall and facilities. The user can register and log into the system. The administrator will know the registered user name, CNIC, and address. The administrator will know the details of reservations. The administrator will also know the daily income of the hall. The hall management project was developed for the purpose of maintaining all details of the hotel on an online website. Maintaining all the information in different kinds of ledger books is difficult. Therefore, a computerized system is needed to manage the hotel effectively. The application covers both hall and lodging activities in a quick manner. Through this application, the manager could manage customer registration, customer tracking, accommodation booking, hall availability, food orders, billing for the services, and reports. The development of this system is based on the software development life cycle with PHP and HTML as the programming languages, while MySQL server is used as the database of the system. HTML is beneficial due to its ease of use, while MySQL has better advanced features and properties, good security, is open source, and has cross-platform operability.Item Android puzzle game package(UMT Lahore, 2015-10-22) Ayzaz-ul-Hassan; Hasan Dastgir; Sheikh Bilal AhmedItem Android sales order application(UMT Lahore, 2015-07-20) M Bilal Ch; Adeel Noor; Hafiza MariahItem B-CAS(UMT Lahore, 2015-08) Ahsan Yasin; Khalid Rasool; Khizran Ahmad; Muhammad AliBiometric Class Attendance System (B-CAS) will solve the daily hectic problem of manual attendance of the students. Currently, many automated attendance systems are available in the market that mark attendance through fingerprint scans, but their high prices restrain institutions from upgrading their manual attendance systems. Currently, teachers take attendance of the students by calling their names or roll numbers, but this method has many problems. Some students call attendance for their friends who are not present in the class at that time, or teachers usually lose their attendance sheets. So, in order to solve these kinds of problems, this system will help manage attendance by marking attendance through fingerprint scans using an easily available, low-cost fingerprint scanner. Students just have to put their thumb on the device to get their attendance marked. If the student’s record is present in the database, then the device will produce a sound to show that the student is being marked as “present”; otherwise, the student is not registered in that particular class. The system will be web-based, and all attendance records will be stored online. In this way, every student will be graded at the end of the day based on whether he or she has short attendance or the percentage of attendance. Every classroom will have a session opened for a particular class or section. In class, every teacher will just open the session for the particular section to mark attendance, and students will get their attendance marked by swiping their fingers on the fingerprint recognition device.Item Biometric attendance system(UMT Lahore, 2015) Muhammad Ahmed Tahir; Muhammad HaseebThis project has been made to replace the old attendance system on papers with a new system that uses modern technology that will provide assistance to the employees to take attendance easily with thumbprint. Aqeel Babar; Imran ZebThe modern man of today is affected badly by the manmade scientific mechanical or electronics appliances which were invented or built to facilitate them with easiness. No doubt these things have many benefits for them but on the other hand they also have some kinds of disadvantages, such as vehicles which are moving on roads, carry us from one place to another and make our journey faster. Due to the highness of aware, nowadays it is a problem of great concern that our environment is polluted badly by these automobiles going on the roads, because these are polluting our atmosphere with air and noise pollution. To alleviate aforementioned problems we have decided to develop an IT based intelligent carpool system, which will help people and especially the students of universities like UMT to share the ride on the same road. Our intelligent system will provide the information about a person travelling on a vehicle passing through his house. Thus a point or stand of carpoolers will be created to pick up the ride seekers from there. In such a way he will be able to share the ride from that point to the destination by sharing the fuel cost with the vehicle driver, and also his time will be saved which he wasted in the wait and traveling to the public vehicles daily. Our intelligent carpool system will ensure the service taker and a driver that they both are travelling with the right person without any fear because there will be a prior agreement between the vehicle’s owner and the ride seeker at our smart carpool web portal, but it requires potentially sensitive information such as user’s name and identity and his exact location. By lowering the number of vehicles on the roads, there will be a less smoky and dulcet environment on the roads than ever before.Item Cars auction platform(UMT Lahore, 2015) Muneeb Ahmed Khan; Muhammad Usama Javed; Muhammad Khizar NajamItem Complaint management system(UMT Lahore, 2015-10-19) Muhammad Ahsan Qurashi; Haroon Ahmed Sheikh; Rana Muhammad SaqibNow day’s the companies that provides best after sale services to their customers are increasing their businesses rapidly due to their good after sale service.
