In the beginning, they did not pay heed to their host cultures, religions and philosophical traditions however latter they realized that in order to relate Christian message with the lives of the new converts, there is an immense need to contemporize/contextualize Christian message in the indigenous cultures. This study investigates the aspects of Christian theology developed in the particular context of Pakistan by using the methods of content analysis and semi-structured interviews.Item Toheen risalat (PBUH) k jadeed fikri o tahzeebi ahdaf ka tajzyati mataliya(UMT, Lahore, 2020) Ayesha SadiaItem A Study of the Qur’anic Stories(UMT, Lahore, 2021) M. There is a long history of refutation of atheism by different religions such as Judaism, Christianity, and Hinduism. Similarly, Muslim scholars also have rejected the beliefs of atheism but the academic community is not much familiar with this rejection. The objective of the study is to understand the emergence of ‘new atheism’ and to examine how new atheists have conceptualized the non-existence of God and the scientific moralities, and how Muslim scholars have responded (internal objective). By doing so, this study will put forward a theory and a method to study new atheism through the Islamic perspective (external objective). The study compares new atheist thinkers with Muslim scholars and analyzes the differences. The study also traces the history of atheism in the Western world with a special focus on the Muslim world.
