Abstract
Pluralistic society is a communal system where people from different regions, color, race, language, culture, thoughts, ideologies, and religions live together. Today the world has become a global village which has raised the need of reducing disparity among people and developing values like empathy, patience and understanding for sustainable peace. The prophet Muhammad(صلى الله عليه وسلم (laid foundation of pluralistic society first time in the history of the world in the state of Madina. His political policies, administration and social action led a cohesive and collaborative society where Muslims, Jews, Christians, polytheists and other tribes lived together in peace and harmony. Pakistan, though is a Muslim country but people from different sects, casts and areas are reluctant to tolerate each other. Resultantly, the society is self-centered and is vulnerable to extremism. Thus, the current study has been, designed to bring to light the Prophet Muhammad’s (صلى الله عليه وسلم (model of peace in the light of his addresses, policies for peace, cooperation, and reconciliation.
