Many contending views have been expressed by different circles on the phenomenon, however, still it is perceived as a negative development by many of the policy makers in the West. Mostly it is considered monolithic, totalitarian, anti-democratic, anti-western, against modernity and opposed to universal human rights. He declared religious traditions and ethics superstitious. He attached morality with power and to strengthen his point of view declared God’s death. Moreover, he is of the view that the major duty of a person is to attain the power. The person who has more and more power is a real superman. In the days of Nietzsche, concept of evolution was the intellectual foundation of that age. After adding in Darwin’s theory, he said man must create a new race of human beings like superman. He thought that physical evolution has been completed however the process of psychological and ethical evolution must be carrying on. His three principles are well-known; first, replaced God with superman; secondly, man’s power instead of God’s blessing and finally urge to get more power and control instead of longing hereafter’s life.Item Contemporizing Christian Theological Trends in Pakistan An Analytical Critique of Christian Discourses Since 1970(2020) Farman AliWhen Christianity came out from European peninsula and it was promulgated in Africa and Asia by the Christian missionaries under the patronage of colonial powers, Christian missionaries and theologians faced several problems in order to relate Christian message and faith because of the cultural diversity in their mission fields. In the beginning, they did not pay heed to their host cultures, religions and philosophical traditions however latter they realized that in order to relate Christian message with the lives of the new converts, there is an immense need to contemporize/contextualize Christian message in the indigenous cultures. So, they argued that that no theology is absolute and all the theologies, especially the western Christian theology, developed in the western environment is contextual and to incarnate Christian teachings and faith, they had to develop a theology relevant to the live of new converts. This study investigates the aspects of Christian theology developed in the particular context of Pakistan by using the methods of content analysis and semi-structured interviews.Item Allama Iqbal or Syed Modoodi k tasawur e ryasat ka taqabli mtaliya(UMT, Lahore, 2020) Sajid AnwarIt is a fact that the two-nation theory was a very effective and timely needed ideology in the subcontinent. It was the strength and power of the ideology that attracted the Muslims of India to it. When Muslims were in power it was not a problem either because they had no hatred feeling for Hindus and the people of other religions of Indian. The non-Muslims were always been safe and the lives of individuals were secured in all aspects by Muslims in their regime. They had the freedom to live their individual and communal life freely; they were never forced to convert to Muslims’ religion ever. Their places of worship were safe and they had every kind of social protection. The war of independence 1857 was fought by both Muslims and Hindus together and both wanted the British expulsion from India. But history narrates that after the failure of the independence of movement; only Muslims were subjected to atrocities of the British in the subsequent. In the later years, both the British and Hindus turned against Muslims and butchered them. The two nation theory which came into existence right after it became the soulful soil of the concept of Pakistan. Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, Allama Muhammad Iqbal, Syed Maududi, Allama Asad, Maulana Ashraf Ali Thanhvi, Liaquat Ali Khan and other prominent leaders had the same feeling that an Islamic state should be attained where the principles of Islam to be implemented. It was the sincerity of their visions that the independence was achieved eventually.
