    Human posture rectification using accelerometer
(UMT Lahore, 2020) Shaheer Abdullah; Muhammad Zeeshan
Accelerometers can be used for acceleration measurements (dynamic as well as static), tilt sensing, angle measurements etc. So, we can use an accelerometer to recognize human posture and give feedback to improve the posture. We collected data from multiple subjects in different environments to understand variations in the accelerometer readings. Using the collected data, we used statistical approaches to identify correct postures. Our prototype consisted of an accelerometer, a micro-controller, a SD card module, a real-time clock and a power bank. This device can be held inside a belt, which holds the prototype to identify the variations in posture and then the information from the data can be used to provide feedback accordingly.

Impact of climate changes on Hydroligic modeling of Haro River
(UMT. Lahore, 2025) Muhammad Sanwal; Shoaib Aslam; Muhammad Zeeshan; Ahmad Deyar
This study addresses the long-term variation of main meteorological parameters, namely inflows, temperature, and precipitation in the Haro River watershed, which is the catchment falling upstream of the Khanpur Dam. Climate input data for this study obtained from the NASA Earth Exchange Global Daily Downscaled Projection NEX-GDDP, driven specifically by the MIROC6 model under the two Representative Concentration Pathway RCP scenarios, 4.5 and 8.5. The QSWAT+ model has been calibrated for the inflows at Khanpur watershed for the year 2014 at the monthly scale and validated for the two-outs using the SWAT-CUP (Soil and Water Assessment Tool-Calibration Uncertainty Program). The calibration results indicated that the simulated inflows of Khanpur dam station are in good agreement with the computed inflows. R2 and NSE values were computed as 0.83 and 0.80, respectively. While R2 and NSE for 1997 stands at 0.75 and 0.72 and are 0.68 and 0.71 for the year 2002. Projection from the study indicates that climate change will eventually alter the hydrology of the watershed drastically. Maximum temperatures between 40.5 and 48.1°C and minimum between 25.5 and 31.6°C are thus predicted to follow a strong warming trend by 2080 under RCP 4.5 and RCP 8.5 scenarios. Besides, annual precipitation is projected to increase to 905 mm under RCP 4.5 and 919 mm under RCP 8.5 by 2080 from 837 mm in 2020. These changes reflect an intensified hydrologic cycle due to increased rainfall. Accordingly, this study contributes to the UN's SDGs on SDG 6, Clean Water and Sanitation, by proposing an efficient water management strategy, and SDG 13, Climate Action, through the assessment of impacts imposed by climate change on the hydrological cycle of the Haro River basin. These will contribute toward sustainable water resources and climate resilience in the area.

The pragmatic interpretation of universal declaration of human rights by Pakistani youth
(University of Management and Technology, 2012) Muhammad Zeeshan
The following research work was intended to know the pragmatic interpretation of universal declaration of human rights by Pakistani youth. The attempt was to highlight the implicit factors from cognitive, social, historical, cultural and political contexts by which the interpretation of even a universally accepted document gets varied. Cultural diversity and its relationship to interpretation of Universal Declaration of human rights were, thus, the focus of this research. For this a random sample of Pakistani students at post graduate level from all over Pakistanwas selected. Their opinions and interpretations about this particular charter were then collected through questionnaire and in-group discussions and informal interviews. The collected data was then analyzed through Likert Scale. The results proved that a significant cultural bias against United Nations and the West is dangerously affecting the pragmatic interpretation of this particular charter, thus require practical measures to protect basic human rights around the world.

    Quantifying Value Co-Creation:
    (UMT.Lahore, 2016-04-02) Muhammad Zeeshan
Service Dominant Logic of Marketing has changed the way Marketing discipline is being understood today. Value co-creation has become central, and one of the most researched topics among marketing scholars worldwide. Value is believed to be realized by the customers. This study is discussing the relationship between value realization facets and customer experience that emerges from a value co-creation process. With assumptions of a positivist paradigm, this study is responding to the call for quantification of value co-creation concept. This research is answering the question: “What is the relationship between realized value facets (monetary-value, relationship value, and functional-value) and customer experience (experience value) in a B2B context? The chosen context of this study is systems development and implementation in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry. Responses are collected from the team members of client organizations (customers) of different ICT Vendors while implementing services by Microsoft, Oracle, and SAP etc. Seven-point likert scale survey instrument was used to record the responses. Sample size is comprised of 212 respondents, who completed the survey. Multivariate data analysis techniques like exploratory factor analysis (EFA), cronbach’s alpha, and linear regressions have been used to analyze the data.

To investigate the spinning faults in 100% cotton carded yarn, in ellcot spinning mills
(UMT, Lhr, 2015) Muhammad Zeeshan; Waqas Babar; Waqar -Ul -Hassan; Waqar -Ul -Hassan; Ali Javed
This research work is about different types of faults that may occur in spinning mill during different process while using cotton as a raw material. Firstly we studied the different types of faults that may occur in blow room and carding section while doing process. Then made some experiments on it. The results that we obtain by increasing and decreasing the %age of waste by adjusting different settings of the machine to examine the %age of faults that occur in material.
