Abstract
This project covers the correction the process flows of material handling, procurement and
planning to increase the overall productivity of SOFTWOOD PVT LTD. Elimination of outdated
procedures which one cause the huge loses by shipment delays non-conformance of customer
orders, increasing lead-time and increasing non value added activities. The objective is to develop
the supply chain Process in SOFTWOOD PVT LTD and propose the best standard operating
procedures for the optimization of material handling, procurement and planning flows
