Abstract
The research addresses the key success factors for leading brands manufacturers by launching new products through upward brand stretching and its impact on existing brand’s significance. The study aims to identify the gap, which is progressively endeavoring to launch new product offerings under a current brand name to gain more market share and therefore increase the profit and sales. It’s also important to determine the ways for successful brand extension and also the reasons of failed extensions
