Abstract
The purpose of this research was to investigate and identify the effectiveness of the school as perceived parents of students enrolled in primary school. The characteristics of school effectiveness include professional leadership, sheared vision and goals, safe and orderly atmosphere, focusing on teaching training, high expectations for students, positive reinforcement, pupil right and responsibilities, home- school partnership, established staff development. This was a quantitative research and used survey design. Sample was comprised of 110parents of students enrolled in semi government school of Lahore. Descriptive statistics was used to analyses the data. The school was prevised as effective by the parents in all respect except that school should invite parent input for developing school policies.
