Abstract
The distant historical always provides an effective source of inspiration. The Palais Garnier (Opera House in France) is a very essential part and exaggerated example of Beaux-arts Architecture and Neo-Baroque architecture constructed during the Second French Empire, after giving the order by Napoleon III when he assassinated by Orsini at the building where the opera house was being held. Providing a comprehensive information is not only about its construction techniques but it is also about its architecture design, which is the most extravagant of the 18th century. The Palais garnier and its architecture encompass with Baroque design, Beaux-arts, Sculptures, Paintings and surface treatments, which shows and explain Belief, culture, life of the empire, influences and religious practices. The focus of my research is to explore different sites of Garnier palace, analyze and conclude the concept behind these magnificent, majestic and full of meaning its architecture design and develop a range of infinite Motifs by unfolding the complexity of doodling. The patterns constructed by incorporating the free hand doodling are according to the upcoming trends for Embellishment market. The outcome is meant to hit the thoughts by incorporating handmade papers along with today's trending embellishment techniques including embroidery, Cut-works, piping on fabric.
