dc.description.abstractTracing the roots of evolution of HRM, this article is focused towards employee relation model in Domestic organizations of Pakistan. The article first traces the roots of SHRM and then pinpoints the context specific nature of HRM. By arguing the context specific nature of HRM, the article develops a conceptual model of employee relationship in domestic organizations of Pakistan. The article concludes by developing an argument that HRM in Pakistan is still in its infancy and it is informal in nature.en_US
