Abstract
Training is vital to sharpen the teaching capabilities of the teacher for the success of teaching learning process. Training of teacher comprises two major components namely; theory and practice (practicum) and both these components need to balance. However, the teacher education in Pakistan is alleged to be a theory-oriented and a very little time is allocated to practice teaching. Practice teaching program is carried out in school its aim the help student apply the skill teacher on which they have been preparation stages for teaching The major purpose of the study were to ermine the issues and problem of practicum and highlight those problem faced by administration, teacher, student of during the teaching practice (practicum) The general object purpose of the proposed study is to find the issue and problem during teaching practices. And secondthe purpose of my proposed study is to find practices is more effective than theory and .specific object of my study is find out significance difference between professional teacher and non-professional teacher in teaching parties and second objective is define significance difference between experienced teacher and non-experienced teacher in teaching The scope of the study was limited to the government school of (wahdat road Lahore) Lahore. The area of population of my study consisted all trained and untrained teacher of government school wahdat roads Lahore The questionnaire was developed from the international standards of accomplished teachers. A pilot testing was also made to check the reliability and validity of the research instrument. My study show that the practicum is an essential part of teacher training. As the doctors are not qualified till they do not complete their house job, or qualification of engineers and business professional are not completed without internship, practicum should be the part of teacher education. Without practicum teachers cannot be prepared at the level of international standards and they will not be able to improve the education and to bring it to the international standards. Pakistan is putting stress on teacher education but practicum is still not the part of teacher training. Theoretical knowledge of teachers will be useless without practicing in the real classroom situation under the supervision of qualified supervisors.
