dc.description.abstractThe increasing consumer demand for nutritious foods with an extended shelf life led to the development of various functional food products. Scientific evidence supports the consumption of prebiotics and probiotics for their potential health benefits. Therefore, this study aimed to prepare functional muffins enriched with pomegranate peel as a prebiotic, B. bifidum as a probiotic, and their combination as synbiotics.
