Abstract
Mughal architecture is an architectural style developed by Mughals in 16th, 17th and 18th century. There accomplishment include Humayuns Tomb, Agra Fort, Buland Darwaza, Taj Mahal, Shesh Mahal, Red Fort, Badshahi Masjid etc.detailed research has been done on Mughal art which is a cluster of their culture like their paintings, architecture, clothing, artifacts and Islamic patterns developed in their time. They are were close to nature so most of the patterns give realistic look. Inspiration has been taken from ancient buildings with delicate work with Islamic ornaments and patterns.
As Mughal era is known as the elegance of that time, and Mughal doors have not yet been used as textile print. Working with such beautiful era would bring a lot of experience. Target group is from 20-40 age individuals.
Thesis work would comprise of few procedures that consist of Concept building first of all and research relevant to theme after that will go for research boards, mood boards and then initial sketching with the Extraction of motif which will be then convert into some pattern and repeat according to our demands then color options will be finalized, color charts will take place too sampling and product range of application of final fabric with given procedure and then after whole work will be displayed.
Expected outcome will be open composition will be developed, working with embroidery and mix media using different product and even dopatta prints will be developed.
