Abstract
Childhood is actually can be considered a social construct because a child is an
unworldly person who is immature, irresponsible, and quite juvenile. Childhood is an
ideology of many facets which may include dependency on the guardian or the care
taker and the ideology of incompetency. Children are deprived of the ability to
distinguish between what is right and what they might call wrong.
Pakistan is among those unfortunate country which are hit by child labor at its worst.
There are around 200 million minors in the world who should have been into schools
but ended up in places like workshops, factories, brick kilns etc. An estimated 12 million
of minors are hit by child labor in Pakistan.
