Item Kohlnoor textiles (gujjar khan)(UMT.Lahore, 2005) Sherbaz NakaiThis is internship report of Kohinoor Textiles Mills (Gujjar Khan). This unit is situated near Gujjar Khan and the owner of this unit is Sagol Group of Industries. The machinery of this unit is totally new and they are producing excellent quality of yam. The production of this unit is 75-80 bags of yam daily which includes different types of yam. They generally export the yam to different countries and also sale the yam in local market. They have a very good system but there are certain problems in the unit, which I have mentioned in the project. The major problem in this unit is the management problems after studying the report one can be able to know the strengths, weakness, opportunities and the threats of the unit.Item Kohinoor textiles (gujjar khan)(UMT.Lahore, 2005) M Khalid IqbalThis is B.T.T.M(H) final project, which is based on my internship at Kohinoor Textile Mills KTM (Gujjar Khan). KTM is situated in GuJJar Khan and belongs to the renowned Sagol Group. Factory has latest state of the art machinery and the quality of spun yam being produced is exceptional. Daily production of this unit is 70-80 bags, weighing 100 lbs. including various types of yarns. Company exports 40% of its total production, whereas remaining 60% is supplied to the local users. Although the systems being followed are good but still there is room for improvement. I have pointed out some problems in prevailing system and have given some recommendations to overcome the persisting problems. Mostly problems are concemed with the management and one can better tackle them after going through this report which provides useful information about the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats about Kohinoor Textile Mills.Item City textile mill Lahore(UMT.Lahore, 2005) Zen-Ul-AbedinB.T.T.M final project is based on my internship at City Textile Mill, Ferozepur road Lahore. City Textiles is situated at Kahna, Lahore. This factory has highly productive machinery. Medium quality yarns are being produced there, ranging from 10s to 24s. Factory has a daily production of almost 250 bags, weighing 100 lbs, including various types of yarns. Company locally settles almost 95% of their total production and a big portion are used for production of canvas, tarpaulins, mops and tents etc. which is the supplementary business of the company. Most of production is exported to USA and European countries. The management structure is good, although still a big room of improvement is there. So 1 have pointed out some areas of improvement and have given suggestions to overcome the prevailing problems. 1 have discussed in this project; Job Description, Reports, Working Areas, Problems and their solutions.
