Abstract
This thesis involves a ship restaurant on land overlooking a serene lake. Most people do not have knowledge of aquatic life, resulting in them being oblivious of the results of their negligence, such as throwing plastic, mirrors, and many factories dumping their industrial waste in the sea, such as toxic chemicals, steel, and much more. This ship will not only be an aesthetic place to enjoy food, but it will also include elements that could help spread awareness about aquatic life. The key element would include a steel pipe wall designed in waythat looks pleasing yet have a striking message about waste then a mirror wall with the QR code that leads to the videos of divers extracting mirror pieces from corals, fish hideouts and many more places that is affecting the health of many living organisms under water. The mirror would also serve the reflective experience and self-awareness of their action. The seashell wall emphasizes the beauty and delicacy of the sea and how we are leading towards its destruction. The ship not being in the water symbolizes a bridge between water and land, the natural world, and the consequences of modern industrialization. It can be seen metaphorically or literally in terms of reflection, where a man could not only enjoy their meals but also think about their role in protecting what lives underneath their view of the water. This restaurant will be a year-round use to enjoy good food with a serene view, with multiple seating arrangements on 2 decks. The lower deck with extreme luxurious seating, with a bar area, and the upper deck with open-air BBQ it will be a perfect spot to enjoy events and special days. The industrial kitchen would be designed with modern equipment and state-of-the-art appliances, including a high-capacity oven, powerful exhaust, and chillers. Grills and smart cooking stoves support efficient cooking and service. It is designed with hygiene, functionality, and efficiency in mind. The layout follows a seamless workflow from making to plating for minimum cross-contamination and maximizing staff productivity. Eco-friendly choices, such as a waste management plan and energy-efficient equipment, are used to align with the project’s core message about sustainability
