Abstract
The aim of the Research finds out the relationship between overprotective parenting, assertiveness and relationship issues in university students for this purpose correlation research design was used for data collection of overprotective parenting, assertiveness and relationship issues. Demographic sheet was used by using stratifies sampling data was collected from 300 participants from government and private universities correlation revealed that differences negative relationship between overprotective parenting and relationships issues as for finding of significant results of variables were used one way ANOVA and t independent test. The study examines the impact of overprotective parenting on the development of assertiveness in university students, and how it can lead to difficulty forming healthy relationships. The study also explores the role of gender in overprotective parenting and its impact on university students. The study provides insights into the importance of parenting styles in the development of young adults and highlights the need for further research in this area.
