Coates Lorilleux Pakistan is a Printing Ink manufacturing company. It is engaged in Designing, Manufacturing and Marketing of Printing Inks for the printing and packaging industries. This is the only ink manufacturer company in Pakistan, which is ISO 9001 certified. Over there I have learnt a lot about being practical in the market. The task that was given to me by my Advisor was to develop a Marketing Plan and to conduct a Marketing Survey for Water Based inks. For this I have developed a questionnaire and took a sample size of 20 ink users. For this I had to go to their respective places and conduct a detailed interview with the owners. In the analysis of the survey, 1 came up to know that, Coates Lorilleux has the highest market share of 39% in Liquid inks. On conducting the interview, it was analyzed that the customers have a problem with them because of high priced charged by Coates. For this I have recommended that to reduce their price and to keep up the current viscosity level. My next task was to develop a Marketing Plan for Coates Lorilleux. Suggestions were given that to position their product as a quality product rather than positioning on the basis of price. They should also have some promotional activities as recommended that to have some free samples for the customers or some free trials of inks. To give them some technical assistance when needed. Improve their distribution channel so that their customers have no problem with them and be more loyal. These were some of the suggestions given in the marketing plan.Item INTERNSHIP REPORT ON DESCON(UMT, Lahore, 2000) M.Waseeiti KhaliqItem Internship Report on Digital Office Systems(UMT, Lahore, 2002) Usman QayyumDigital Office System was founded in 1988. All are available in both forms carded and combed. The company produces 100 % cotton yam and a blend of 52:48. Company is enjoying a good financial position. Annual tum over is more than 100 million US dollars. Khalid Nazir Spinning Mills is registered member of All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA). It has a good reputation in the local market. Although it is new in the intemational markets but it is introducing itself as quality conscious, punctual and competitive. There are four management departments and seven production departments. I spent most of my time during intemship in management departments and made a few visits to the factory, which is located in Kamooki. I observed that company is relying on its current contacts abroad for capturing intemational market. It is not making professional efforts for getting hold on intemational market. Company is more focused on local market. There are no official visits to intemational exhibition where company can get new customers. In export department I found that most of the work is done by the assistant and junior assistant. I would recommend them to make marketing efforts instead of working in traditional style. They need to explore more markets instead of relying on current contacts, which are reducing gradually due to increasing competition in the intemational market.Item Internship Report on Packages Limited(UMT, Lahore, 2001) MOHAMMAD ALl DODHYThe final project of BBA (H) is an internship report on Packages Limited. Packages Limited was set up in 1957 to provide quality-packaging material for Pakistan's growing consumer industry. This company was a joint venture among the Ali Group of Pakistan & Akerlund & Rausing of Sweden. The final project has been divided into eight chapters to facilitate the reader. The main objective of this project is firstly to provide the reader the basic information about the pulp zmd paper industry and secondly to provide the reader with various analytical and research studies. The methodology used for the analytical studies is the analysis of the secondary data that was collected by the organization. The data used in the research study is primary data and was collected for only research purpose. The method used for collecting the data was a questionnaire filled by the Tissue Department and as well as oral interview of representative of Tissue Department Mr. Abdur Razzaq, was also conducted. The result of the production rate analysis was that the company is producing at the rate that is very near to its capacity and the major reason for that is the less demand form its customer about that specific type of pulp. The year 2000 was the first year in the pulp mill when the chlorine was replaced with sodium hypochloride so the chemical consumption analysis results showed their points of deficiencies that was basically the higher kappa number. It was concluded from the plant-down time analysis that the major reason for the plant shutdown is either high level or no demand form the customer. The customer satisfection study showed the deficiencies of the pulp mill in the viewpoint of their customers that wanted improvement in operations, quality as well as production timing. It is suggested that pulp mill should increase its customer segment as well as it should increase its customer within the segments it is currently dealing. The pulp mill should conduct proper training programs for its workers, it is also suggested that in pulp mill working environment needs to be improved as well as the use of information technology requires more attention. It is hoped that these studies as well as suggestions will be useful for every reader as they provide a deep understanding about the various aspects of the pulp industry.Item Islam society & systems (The Messages of the Holy Quran)(UMT, Lahore, 2008) Ubaid Ullah SyedItem Islam, Society and System(UMT, Lahore, 2008) Usman PervezItem Perfectionism, self-concealment and imposter syndrome in university teachers(UMT, Lahore, 2024) Saliha MoazzamThe main purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between perfectionism, self-concealment and imposter syndrome in university teachers. This pioject is about the study of woven fabric defects in the four different constiuction of fabric. I have joined the Kohinoor Textile Mills to complete my Internship and after that I am doing the job here in production. I have discussed why the particular faults occurred in the particular type of construction, what are the reasons behind it and what aie the possible remedies. For the completion of this project I have to observe the looms for hours, weeks, and even months so that I can get much reliable data. At the end I had given my suggestions to minimize these kinds of faults in the fabric making process.
