Item Fusion of crystals in feminine attire(UMT, Lhr, 2021) ABBIHA KHALIDThe project focused upon the development of “Bismuth Crystal and Snowflakes” design derivation. Crystals are known as the absolute beauty that camouflages diamonds encapsulating vibrant and hued colors. Crystals are also the mood lifters as being infused in people’s lives spiritually to boost positive energy and relieve stress by admiring its beauty. The project is based on the combination of a man-made crystal and the one bestowed by the nature. Two different concepts are being incorporated and exquisitely merged in this study i.e. “Bismuth” has been chosen because of its remarkable synthetic qualities of exposing colors when in the air because of surface oxidation. On the other hand, “Snowflakes” are natural crystals that are not in solid form but do maintains the beauty and delicacy with their astonishing intricate details Almighty has created. The motive of this project was to enhance the beauty of this blend of two crystals through textile techniques for the young woman aged from 20-25 years old. Designs were sketched elegantly as well as composed digitally via Adobe Photoshop wielded from the research elements of Bismuth and Snowflakes. The research is remarkably enhancing the beauty of Bismuth’s oblique nature and intricacy of Snowflake. The complete stages of the research will be elaborated in this report profoundly. Results will indicate the eccentric samples from patterns and designs of these Crystals and displaying four main products as an outcome.
