Comparative Study of Direct and Indirect Cargo Carriers and Its Impact on Local Cargo Carriers at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore

There has been seen a lot of difference between Direct and Indirect carriers. Therefore study was conducted on the Comparative study of Direct and Indirect cargo carriers and its impact on Local Airlines. The survey was conducted in the vicinity of Allama Iqbal International Airport .Questionnaires was filled by the cargo agents and PIA airline and interview was conducted from different indirect cargo carriers. It was found that local airlines have incapable market share because of their weak market strategies and lack of fleet size. Another reason found for their decline was that they do not have right person on right job and they do not conduct trainings of their employee’s .On the other hand indirect carriers have strong strategies and significant market share. They exceed to the satisfaction of their customers..
