Item Emotional intelligence, student participation and academic achievement of students at university level(UMT Lahore, 2022-08-11) Aqsa IqbalEmotional Intelligence is concerned with the ways in which individuals utilize their emotions in their everyday routines. Individuals who are emotionally intelligent accomplish achievement in key aspects of their lives, such as workplace and relationships. Many researchers have investigated the impact of emotions on student participation. In higher education, however, little is understood about how emotional intelligence (EI) is associated to classroom participation and other important learning outcomes. To close this gap, this study looked at how emotional intelligence (EQ) is linked to student participation and how EQ and classroom participation work together to indicate effective learning achievements in higher education, including as students' GPA, general results, and happiness with their university experience. This study Sample was male and female students, both from private and public universities of Lahore. Age-wise sample was distributed three groups i.e. 21-25 year, 26-30 year and 31-35 year. Researcher collects data from participant through questionnaire tool. In this study 200 university students participate. Researcher collects data online because education institute closed due to Coved. Researcher analyzed the data through SPSS software. Tables were used to show the data, which were analyzed using percentages, means, standard deviations, t-tests, and correlations. This research demonstrates that EI has a positive impact on students' academic success in higher education. According to the findings of this study emotional intelligence correlated positively all measures of student participation and improved key learning outcomes.
