Challenges perceived by faculty of higher education about online teaching during Covid-19 pandemic

The problem statement of the study is that before COVID-19 pandemic online education has not been applied on such huge scale. Neither teachers were prepared not the students so definitely they would have come across two various challenges. Online education system was forced on the instructors at primary level, secondary level, and tertiary levels to follow a different methodology and skills set. The purpose of the study was to investigate about the challenges which were faced by the faculty of higher education system during online classes in COVID-19 pandemic. The research was guided by four research questions. Data were collected from 200 faculty members from universities of Lahore, University of Central Punjab, The Punjab University Lahore, University of Management and Technology and Government Degree College for Women, Wapda Town Lahore. SPSS was used to Analyze data as study was quantitative. One-way Anova, Independent T-Test and Descriptives were used for achieving the findings. Recommendations were also given in the last chapter.
