Item Relationship between school climate, teacher job satisfaction and organizational commitment(UMT Lahore, 2022) AQSA NOORThe relationship between school climate, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment in private and public secondary schools in the Lahore district is investigated in this study. The relationships and outcomes of mediating factors were defined using a route model. The influence of school climate on work satisfaction and organizational commitment was investigated using a multiple-group comparison method in this study. I gathered information from secondary schools in the Lahore district through a survey. The researcher visited some schools personally and further data was collected through online procedure due to COVID-19. The link of questionnaire was shared with teachers through online survey. The findings indicate that instructional and transformational have a considerable impact on teachers' work satisfaction and organizational commitment, which is mediated by the indirect effect of school climate and instructors. The goal of this study was to see how satisfaction with work factors affected teachers' perceptions of organizational commitment in public and private secondary schools in Lahore. In addition, the research was conducted to determine how devoted these teachers are to their secondary schools and how satisfied they are with various aspects of their work. The study was conducted using a survey-based descriptive research design. Teaching faculty from two public and private secondary schools in Lahore participated in the study. The research was confirmed using stepwise regression analysis and one sample t-tests. The study's findings revealed that contentment with the work itself, the level of supervision, and pay satisfaction all had a significant beneficial impact on faculty members' organizational commitment. They were highly committed to the organisation and satisfied with their work, supervision, and advancement possibilities. Limitation; this study was limited in district Lahore due to COVID-19. Originality/value: According to the relevant literature, school teachers' dedication and job satisfaction, notably in public and private secondary schools in Lahore, is an under-researched issue. As a result, the current work has helped to better understanding of a critical topic. Further, the outcomes of the study are explored in terms of their practical consequences in both public and private secondary schools.
