Unmanned ground vehicle for surveillance with self-defense system

Our aim is to create a robot vehicle that could be used for surveillance and spying in areas that are not suitable for human approach. This robot would be capable of self-defense. It can reach areas unsuitable for humans to collect the required information. We designed a wirelessly controlled robotic vehicle that can be operated within a range of 200 meters using a 433 MHz RF transmitter and receiver. It can also sense obstacles in its path for maneuvering by using ultrasonic sensors. This vehicle is equipped with a metal detector that can detect land mines in its way, along with a wireless camera that transmits live video remotely.
