dc.description.abstractThis research is explicitly focused for evaluating the importance and functioning of the self-constructed PPC plan and with the help of lean manufacturing methods, the knitting industry like dynamic can produce more cost effective products. In this research different problems and factors have been identified that can result into problems and inefficiencies in the manufacturing system. The lean manufacturing tools which were implemented included the Kaizen model, the 5S model, bottle neck analysis and continues model. The tools were experimentally implemented in the organization Dynamic Sportswear Ltd. which was selected being a typical medium sized organization involved in the manufacturing of textile sportswear. An initial survey was conducted with the 75 different people working at managerial positions in the organization. This survey was critically focused on knowing about different kinds of problems that were hampering the productivity of the organization. On the basis of the survey various PPC and lean manufacturing tools were implemented to improve the productivity of the organization. This research identified that several aspects of lean manufacturing can help to increase the productivity and efficiency of the knitting sector especially Dynamic Sportswear Pvt. LTD. These were somewhat not in the practices of Dynamic Sportswear Pvt. LTD. However, their implementation improved the system and especially removes several drawbacks in Dynamic Planning.en_US
