Abstract
The original Persian droplet-like motif the Butta is thought to have been a representation of a floral spray combined with a cypress tree, a Zoroastrian symbol of life and eternity.Paisleys are the one of the most popular motif used in contemporary and ancient time designs.Work plans to view and understand the own designs of paisley including its unique style and different designs and to portray them on textiles using different skills and techniques that were taught by the four years of the degree. The designs will be created both manually and digitally incorporating components from paisley details from many designs and compositions. This report will go through the whole research process, as well as all of the efforts and early sketches of designing from the beginning to the conclusion. The intended output will be a display of this thesis that will include four primary items as well as all of the work completed as a sampling. Many flexible patterns and designs will be derived from the own developed view of paisleys, and great attention to detail will be made to the job. Kashmir is known for its natural beauty, textiles, colours, fabrics, patterns, and methods, as well as for its natural beauty. The “textiles of Kashmir” are probably the most well-known Pakistani textiles. Kashmiri textiles are distinguished for their gorgeous, complex, and delicate patterns. Kashmir's Paisley design, known as "Kashmir Paisley," is also known as "Mango motif" or "Ambi." It is a well-known motif throughout the rest of the globe, where it is known as a "tear drop" or a "tadpole form pattern." The paisley design is an ancient Kashmiri motif called as "kalga" or "kalanga" locally. It has a Persian scent and was first discovered under Mughal reign between the 15th and 16th centuries. It can now be seen on everything from high couture to everyday home and gift items. This study looked at the Kashmir Paisley motif's historical history, origin, method, different changes and evolution, current situation, and use in the modern world. An interview schedule was devised from the responses of authorities, weavers, embroiders, carpet producers, and exporters or importers who deal with this type of motif on a daily basis in order to gain a thorough understanding of the subject. This study will aid in the analysis of current fashions as well as the creation of creative ways to add glitz to print bed covers and dress material through various combinations and alterations.
