dc.description.abstractThis study examines the impact of incorporating Islamic teachings into higher education on the moral and intellectual development of youth, focusing on Higher Education Institutions in District Lahore, Pakistan. In an era where educational practices are evolving, the integration of religious principles is increasingly seen as vital for shaping ethical and intellectual growth among students. Using a mixed-methods approach, the research collected data from both students and teachers at the University of Management and Technology (UMT). Quantitative data was gathered through structured surveys, while qualitative insights were drawn from interviews with scholars in the Department of Islamic Thought and Civilization. The findings reveal a significant positive relationship between Islamic teachings and the moral and intellectual development of youth, with education serving as a crucial mediator. The study highlights the potential benefits of embedding Islamic values within the curriculum to foster a more ethically grounded and intellectually capable generation. The implications suggest that incorporating these teachings could lead to a more cohesive and morally responsible society, better equipped to navigate contemporary challenges.
