Abstract
The purpose of study is to analyze the meteorological factors and making a suitable model to predict carbon mono-oxide over Lahore city. This study uses to develop an auto regressive distributed lag model to examine the long run as well as short run relationship between meteorological factors and carbon mono-oxide. It is examined that in long run method, carbon mono-oxide has significant effect with two significant meteorological factors i.e. surface skin temperature and total surface perception. While in short run method derivative of carbon monoxide has significant effect with total column water vapor which has also significant value. This study is used to for statistical modeling of carbon mono-oxide over mega city Lahore but it can be extended to other cities and provinces.
