Abstract
Among topics covered in this article are IoT permitting technologies, protocols, and application issues. The innovation in internet protocols, communication technologies, and IoT technology (RFID smart sensors, etc.) has enabled the Internet of Things. The theory is also that smart sensors would function together without human involvement to produce new applications. With today’s internet, mobile technologies, and the machine-to-machine (M2M) revolution, a machine revolution has occurred around the world. Moreover, the use of the internet, mobile apps, mobile technologies, and machines has been increasing globally. This is called the IoT revolution. IoT is predicted to cover various technologies in the coming years, allowing new applications by integrating physical items for more intelligent decision-making. The Internet of Things is discussed in depth in the first section of this article.
On the following page, some technical details of enabling technologies, protocols, and applications based on IoT are discussed. This evaluation concentrates on some of the most relevant protocols and applications. In this way, researchers and developers can get a quick sense of how different protocols work together without having to read through RFCs and other standards criteria. A summary of current Internet of Things research, as well as a discussion of significant Internet of Things concerns, is also included. Other developing technologies, such as cloud computing, fog computing, and large-scale data analysis, are also studied along with IoT.
