Abstract
Pakistan has been in a state of poverty from the time it gained independence. There has been a rise in poverty within Pakistan and mostly the tribal areas are affected by it, leading to a subsequent increase in crimes. Along with affecting our society and having a detrimental impact on our economy, it has also had a negative impact on our image at an international level. This thesis focuses on how the Government of Pakistan can tackle the rise in poverty in the country and will identify the existing weaknesses in the system that can be attributed to the poverty rate.
