| dc.description.abstract | Confectionery means something which is high in sugar and ‘Fruta’ is an Albanian word of fruits. In 1950 Roy motherhood who was Kentucky ice-cream factory owner invented an ice-cream named after his daughter ‘’Toodie’ which is basically an Italian word “TUTTI FRUTTI”. My inspiration is Tutti Frutti theme which is also a forecast theme. The objective of my work is clear I have merged Tutti fruit with reference of ‘Memphis pattern’ which are geometrical shapes, lines and repetitive objects and so on to make my colors more emphasizing and I have also followed some designers collections that were my inspiration one of them which is very prominent is the collection of a renowned designer ‘Lena Hoschek’. She launched her collection in spring/summer ’19 named “Tutti Frutti” and another designer “Dolce and Gabbana” also launched a collection named Sicilian Tropical collection in which basically they have shown nature through natural fruits. My basic objective is to create wearable garment which can be easily used keeping in mind the haute couture garments. The overall concept of this collection is inspirational based plus it’s a forecast print which is merged with Memphis patterns. And to create 3D look different objects are used for representation. The creativity in this collection is entirely a new concept which will be used to represent the final garments with geometrical shapes, repetitive patterns or prints. So the balance and harmony is important to maintain the concept and create an astonishing collection. The plan of my work is to achieve what I have thought of from the very Confectionery fruta beginning. I have planned to achieve various cutline and specific embellishment and 3d work which have a main part in my garments I will achieve my cut-lines with the help of draping and pattern with the advice of my supervisor. I will also work on how to make them more admirable and how my 3D work plus embellishment can look more suitable My expected outcome is colorful garment with the balancing of colors plus attractive embellishments. My main focus is that ‘less is more’ so I will try to create précised thing keeping in mind the demand. | |
