Direct pattern on the loom (DPOL) techniques works on the concept of weaving the patterns of garments on to the Jacquard loom. Conventionally more lead time is required to make a garment. With the advancement in technology, now there is need for such a technology which can reduce the fabric loss and lead time. DPOL is used to produce finish edges of garment pieces which reduce loss of fabric. The main aim of our project is to increase the production of direct pattern on Jacquard. Firstly, we developed a pattern of shirt on chart paper. After that, with the same measurements we digitize it on Scot weave software and then save data in floppy disk for transferring it to the Jacquard loom. At the end, we got weaved fabric which was ready for further processes. This process uses less resource than conventional process.
