Abstract
The recent regime change in Pakistan, particularly the shift from the Imran Khan government
in April 2022, has sparked widespread social media discussion. People in Pakistan are
actively engaging in conversations about political, cultural, linguistic, and ideological
independence from Western influence and liberation from the political elite. The call for
political independence has gained momentum since the change in government, with social
media playing a pivotal role in disseminating messages.
