Abstract
Extraversionis “the act, state, or habit of being predominantly concerned with obtaining gratification from what is outside the self” (Merriam-Webster Dictionary, 2015). It is considered an important trait in measuring personality as in most of the personality theories it is taken as one of the primary personality factors. Extroverts tend to manifest themselves as outgoing, talkative, energetic, enthusiastic, assertive, and gregarious. They enjoy social gatherings, are more likely to get involved in group activities and are more attentive towards their outer world. Contrary to that, introverts display themselves as reserved and solitary persons as they enjoy spending time alone, prefer solitarily activities and are more attentive to their inner psychic activity (The Myers and Briggs Foundation, 2016).
