dc.description.abstractThe current study investigates the impact of participative leadership of ITU’s top management on the level of faculty members’ organizational commitment. The aim of the study is to investigate the relationship between the two and provide recommendations in order to improve the situation. The whole population, due to the size being very small, has been taken. The findings suggest that the current level of organizational commitment can be improved by increasing the faculty members’ level of empowerment and participation in decision making. The problem of organizational commitment of faculty members at ITU being very low is identified through several unstructured interviews. The data was analyzed and in light of the findings a questionnaire survey was conducted from the faculty members at ITU for the validation of our findings. The questionnaire survey was done on the whole population. The findings show that the level of organizational commitment can be improved by improving the dimensions of participative leadership.en_US
