Abstract
This project is based on “Effect of Different Traverllers on Physical Properties of 100% 30/1 Cotton Carded Yarn & Ring Spinning Productivity “This project helps us to understand the detail study about the ring spinning which is the last and the most important department in any spinning mill. Ring traveller is the main part of the ring frame which rotates on the ring .Ring traveller; s major function is to insert the twist in the yarn and to wind yarn on the bobbin with the help of spindle rotation. Its speed is somewhat less than that of the spindle. The speed difference is due to lagging of the traveler relative to the spindle. The traveler does not have a drive of its own but is dragged along behind the spindle. Yarn twisting is important for the strength of the yarn. Ring traveller has great effect on the yarn parameters and its properties. It also helps us to know what will be happened when we change different companies' travellers like Rover (U'UM 4/0) R N F (TWW 4/0) & Bracker (CISEL 4/0) by keeping all other parameters constant. We selected these three companies which are above mentioned we used these travellers in the project having c-shape with same no 4/0 but different type. By using different travellers of companies we can determine the importance of traveller in ring .It is the small thing but it has great impact on all the parameters of the yarn. Ring traveller has different shapes but all shapes are not suitable for all yarns .with respect to production and quality we have to select the right combination of ring and the traveller. In our project we will not change the ring diameter but will change the traveller. Due to change of traveller what impact or effect will occur on the productivity as well as on the physical properties?
