Abstract
The aim of this study was to investigate peak experience of music and flourish in youth. It was
hypothesized that participants that were highly engaged in peak experience of music were
likely to have a flourished life. Convenient sampling of 135 participants with age range of 18
25 years (M=21.94; SD=2.19) were collected from online platforms. Urdu version of peak
experience questionnaire (Faran, & Malik, 2019) and PERMA profiler was used. Findings
revealed that Peak experience was likely to have a positive significant relationship with
Flourish. While Spiritual experience was positively significant with relationship while
negatively significant with engagement and flourish (Positive emotion, relationship, meaning
and accomplishment). Age was found negatively significantly associated with flourish.
Regression analysis showed that demographic variables was not a significant predictor of
flourish whereas cognitive experience, emotional experience and spiritual experience were a
predictor of flourish. The findings might be helpful to enhance the interaction between peak
experiences of music and flourish in youth
