Abstract
In the present study researcher used qualitative research method to conduct and evaluate the quackery practices on human health and also the status of quackery practices existing in our Society. The study has descriptive nature that has been designed to describe the causes behind Quackery practices and also to explain the need and significance of Anti Quackery campaign by Punjab health care commission to reduce the ill effects of quackery methods of treatment, Researcher used non probability purposive sampling technique. A total sample of 25 respondent was taken to obtain information to accomplish desired objective .Respondents including Quacks and patients were taken as sample. Tool of data collection Interview schedule was constructed under the guidance of research. After the collection of data, it has been thematically analyzed by using qualitative analysis method to generalize the result. Researcher found that people don't knowledge about the Governmental organizations working for them by realizing the gravity of the under investigation issue and also due to lack of awareness among community regarding quacks and healthy health care commission. Major concern of present study was how much anti-quackery campaigns are necessary to aware community about health healers. Findings indicated that many people trust on quacks due to lack of awareness. There are number of economic, social and psychological causes behind quackery.
