Abstract
It is the study of communication errors that takes place between ATC and pilots. Allama Iqbal
international airport Lahore, has been selected for the study. A questionnaire was distributed
among ATC controllers and pilot’s in-order to know the true sense of communication errors that
takes place as well as to know the basic/key sources, factors and results of communication errors.
Furthermore a detailed list of recommendation has been generated with the help of responses
received from ATC controllers and pilot in-order to eliminate/reduce communication errors it into
an acceptable degree/percentage through appropriate calculations and implications. A total 0f 12
experts (out of which 6 were ATC controllers and 6 were pilots) were assessed in the study/survey
intended to have a sneak of communications errors at Allama Iqbal airport Lahore and so as to
ensure that correct ICAO recommendations are applied at ATC Lahore
