Abstract
The technological advancements have led to many interferences in a marital
relationship. The usage of smartphone has created a new phenomenon known as phubbing,
which coined from the words phone and snubbing, meaning that the individual while using
smartphone ignores his/her co-present partner. The notion of partner phubbing disturbs the
communication among spouses. The aim of this research is to investigate the relationship
between partner phubbing, spousal communication and marital satisfaction.
